This is a key role focused on researching, developing and delivering solutions, services and projects that address skills challenges across the engineering and manufacturing sector. You will take responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of projects and initiatives, both digital and non-digital, from early idea through to implementation, evaluation and, where appropriate, retirement. Working closely with teams across policy, research, engagement and operations, you will help ensure the charity delivers meaningful, measurable impact in line with its mission and strategic objectives. What you’ll be doing You will lead the development and deployment of solutions, products and services, ensuring they meet the needs of stakeholders and deliver real impact. This includes developing new ideas, shaping implementation plans and making sure projects are delivered in line with agreed governance frameworks. You will review the external landscape, explore opportunities to collaborate with partners and identify ways to strengthen and sustain the charity’s offer. A central part of the role is measuring and evaluating impact. You will set clear success measures, assess performance against the charity’s Theory of Change, and produce regular reporting for senior leaders and the Board. You will also promote impact through appropriate channels and ensure that learning is captured and used to improve future activity. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver projects effectively, represent Enginuity at events and forums, and contribute to building strong partnerships. The role also involves supporting income generation through bids, proposals and partnerships, and helping to identify opportunities to maximise both impact and sustainability. In addition, you will lead and develop a small team, supporting their performance and growth, and encouraging a collaborative and forward-thinking approach. You will be a confident communicator, able to explain complex ideas clearly and build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Strategic thinking is important, as is the ability to spot opportunities, shape solutions and drive their adoption. You will also have experience of measuring and reporting impact, using data and insight to inform decision making and continuous improvement. We are looking for someone who is motivated by making a positive difference, with experience in a solutions-focused or product development role, ideally within the social impact or the skills and education sector.
