Role Description The Accounting Specialist plays a critical role in the financial operations of the organization. This position is responsible for various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial transactions and reporting. The Accounting Specialist reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and collaborates closely with other members of the finance team. Essential Functions - Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and expense reimbursements. - Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments. Resolve discrepancies and inquiries from vendors. - Accounts Receivable: Generate customer invoices, monitor accounts receivable aging, and follow up on overdue payments. Coordinate with internal teams to resolve billing issues. - Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy between bank statements and accounting records. - Month-End Close: Assist in the month-end closing process by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and generating financial reports. - Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, variance analysis, and other ad hoc financial reports as required. - Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations. - Audit Support: Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and addressing audit findings. - Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the accounting function. Implement best practices to streamline processes and enhance accuracy. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as procurement, sales, and operations to address financial issues, provide support, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. • Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients by uncovering and analyzing client needs, providing and recommending solutions, and guiding the process with internal key stakeholders to achieve clients’ goals and objectives. • Oversees complex client projects and applies Engage fi and industry best practices to execute on client strategies and implement project tactics to mitigate risk and ensure success. • Works with the project team and other Engage fi team members to develop, customize, and maintain key project artifacts, such as RFPs and project timelines. • Maintains scope, schedule, and budget of projects, ensuring work is completed according the to the plan/statement of work (SOW). • Facilitates project workshops, vendor sessions, and other critical project events and communications, chairs project meetings, and provides SME guidance to ensure project tasks are completed in a suitable and timely manner and risks, gaps, and issues are appropriately tracked, addressed, and escalated. • Develops and sustains relationships with key strategic vendors, studies and evaluates financial industry market trends, participates in solution demos, and remains abreast of vendor changes. • Evaluates client’s current invoices and existing contracts to capture relevant business terms, dates, and pricing. • Works with client, client’s legal representative, vendors, and Engage fi team members to negotiate suitable pricing and contract terms.

• Responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and closing new sales opportunities across the country for consulting lines of business. • Guides credit unions and banks in evaluating and selecting vendors based on their strategic goals. • Establishes executive relationships with financial institutions across the country. • Sells Payments-related products, Digital/Mobile Banking, Core Processing, and ancillary services. • Develops new business via cold calling, email, and social media. • Generates leads by attending industry events. • Conducts needs analysis to identify a bank’s challenges and align with Engage Fi services. • Works closely with marketing resources to leverage marketing campaigns.

• Supports Data Services delivery through the development, maintenance, and execution of data processes across client engagements • Responsible for coding, reporting, and production support, particularly within merger and conversion projects • Contributes to data transformation, validation, and delivery execution while building foundational technical expertise • Serves as a key contributor to delivery teams and is positioned as a development pipeline for progression into a Senior Technical Engineer role through structured training and increasing technical responsibility • Develops and maintains code for reports, data processes, and transformation logic to support client deliverables • Modifies and optimizes existing code, load sets, and scripts to improve performance, accuracy, and efficiency • Supports the execution of ETL processes and data workflows within established frameworks • Executes production tasks related to mergers, conversions, and other client deliverables with a high degree of accuracy and consistency • Supports ongoing data processing activities, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met • Assists in troubleshooting and resolving production issues in coordination with senior team members • Supports data validation, testing, and reconciliation processes to ensure data accuracy and completeness • Identifies, documents, and assists in resolving data-related issues and discrepancies • Collaborates with team members to ensure quality control standards are consistently applied • Works closely with Senior Technical Engineers on complex implementations, contributing to execution while building technical knowledge • Participates in structured training and development programs to enhance technical skills and capabilities • Gains exposure to increasingly complex systems, data models, and integration scenarios to support career progression • Contributes to documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement of data processes and tools • Supports team initiatives and internal efforts to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability of delivery.

• Data Architecture & Engineering – Designs and implements scalable data integration pipelines and data load processes to support system conversions and migrations. • Develops and maps source-to-target data models, ensuring alignment with target system specifications and business requirements. • Establishes and enforces best practices for data architecture, transformation logic, and integration design. • Technical Execution & Development – Installs, configures, and supports platforms including Data Librarian (DL), VantEdge Point (VP), and DataFusion. • Writes, tests, and optimizes custom code to perform complex data transformations and ensure data accuracy and performance. • Develops ETL processes and automation to improve efficiency, repeatability, and reliability of data conversion efforts. • System Discovery & Problem Solving – Leads technical discovery efforts for new, undocumented, or unfamiliar systems by reverse engineering data structures, relationships, and dependencies. • Analyzes complex data environments to identify risks, gaps, and transformation requirements. • Independently architects solutions in ambiguous scenarios with minimal predefined structure. • Technical Leadership & Best Practices – Provides technical leadership across engagements by guiding data strategy, integration approaches, and solution design. • Contributes to the development of internal standards, tools, and methodologies to improve scalability and delivery quality. • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between technical execution and project objectives. • Other Duties & Responsibilities: Supports continuous improvement efforts by contributing to internal knowledge sharing, documentation, and development of repeatable frameworks. • Assists in mentoring team members and providing guidance on complex technical challenges as needed.

• Provides guidance, expertise, and support to Engage fi (EFI) clients and consultants by overseeing the strategy and completion of assigned client interrelated projects • Manages program workstreams to ensure timely and effective completion of interconnected project activities • Communicates program and individual project progress to client and internal resources • Evaluates all proposed modifications to program and project scope and influences stakeholders to control changes • Assists with the ongoing development and enhancement of EFI best practices, project tools, and overall process improvements

• Serve as a trusted advisor to bank and credit union clients on enterprise data strategy, reporting, and validation • Facilitate client workshops, stakeholder discussions, and project updates • Translate technical findings into clear business insights and recommendations • Develop reports, dashboards, and data extracts using SQL and BI tools • Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities • Design and support data validation and reconciliation processes • Support core conversions, mergers, deconversions, and system implementations • Lead data extraction, transformation, reconciliation, and validation efforts • Ensure continuity of regulatory, operational, and executive reporting during system transitions • Coordinate with vendors on data mapping, file specifications, and integrations • Manage multiple client engagements while maintaining project timelines and deliverables

• The Pricing Analyst is responsible for reviewing, ingesting, and analyzing large amounts of pricing data • Analyze vendor pricing proposals and invoices to normalize pricing against client’s current expenses and other vendors’ proposals and pricing. • Validate proposal quotations for accuracy and comprehensiveness • Assess and analyze data from a variety of sources to gain insights into current client pricing • Collaborate with peers and internal customers to improve pricing technology and accuracy • Track vendor and project pricing information for model adjustments • Prepare and present pricing analysis findings to consultants, project managers, leadership, and clients.
