• Lead the full contract lifecycle for complex financial institution agreements, including vendor contracts, MSAs, SaaS, SOWs, NDAs, amendments, renewals, and terminations • Review, redline and negotiate contract provisions related to business terms and service levels • Ensure contracts meet financial institution regulatory requirements and internal policies related to third-party risk management • Partner closely with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Information Security, Procurement, and business stakeholders to assess and mitigate contractual risk • Identify non-standard terms and escalate higher-risk issues • Maintain accurate contract records and workflows within a contract lifecycle management (CLM) system • Track key contract obligations, renewal dates, and termination rights to capture key data • Contribute to the development and organization of clause libraries and negotiation playbooks • Provide guidance to stakeholders on contract requirements, policies, and regulatory expectations • Support continuous process improvement initiatives

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal Studies, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management, contract administration, or legal operations within a financial institution or financial technology (fintech) company
  • Comprehensive knowledge of contracting requirements, including third-party and vendor risk management
  • Proven ability to independently negotiate and finalize complex vendor agreements
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fully remote work environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems
  • Experience supporting financial institution regulatory frameworks (e.g., OCC, FDIC, Federal Reserve) preferred
  • Working knowledge of GLBA, data privacy regulations, SOC reports, business continuity planning, and information security standards
  • Experience negotiating agreements with core financial institution providers, technology vendors, and professional services firms
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize, organize, and manage large volumes of contractual and operational data for future reference and distribution
