• Partnering with hiring managers to fill critical roles on the team. • Understanding hiring manager needs, calibrating with them throughout the process; serving as a thought partner and resource for hiring managers on recruiting best practices. • Writing compelling job descriptions and launching open roles. • Sourcing and attracting candidates through proactive outreach and network building. • Screening applications and conducting initial interviews. • Supporting the development and grading of test tasks in collaboration with hiring managers. • Coordinating interview schedules between candidates and hiring teams. • Conducting reference checks. • Managing offer processes. • Maintaining high standards and an excellent candidate experience throughout, ensuring communications reflect CEA's values. • Project-managing the hiring rounds, keeping everything moving on time to meet recruiting targets, and adapting in response to changing priorities. • Contributing to process improvement projects. This will start with clearly-scoped projects. Over time, your role may expand to include ownership over a particular area of recruiting operations (e.g., employer brand, sourcing, etc). • Tracking and maintaining candidate pipeline data.

• Own the month-end and year-end close process across CEA’s US and UK entities • Oversee and manage external bookkeeping teams • Maintain and improve the chart of accounts and general ledger structure in NetSuite • Ensure all financial transactions are recorded correctly • Oversee the accounts payable function • Project manage and own the annual audit process • Ensure compliance with regulatory filing requirements across jurisdictions • Serve as the primary NetSuite administrator for the accounting function • Directly manage finance associates responsible for payments processing

• Managing CEA's legal matters across compliance, contracts, governance, and risk • Serving as a strategic partner to leadership on cross-functional decisions • Handle a diverse portfolio of legal matters, including contracts of all types, employment and HR matters, intellectual property management, data protection and privacy compliance • Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks across CEA and its programs • Track regulatory developments and ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws (US and UK) • Contribute to annual risk assessments from a legal perspective • Manage relationships with outside counsel, deploying external resources strategically • Advise the boards of the CEA entities, plus the leadership team, on various governance issues

• Build and drive the content function as EA scales its reach • Recruit, onboard, and manage content editors, producers, social media, and potentially videographers and designers • Own content strategy across major campaigns and always-on channels • Partner with CEA program teams on engagement and community building • Establish editorial guidelines and success metrics

• Develop and execute CEA's people strategy in partnership with leadership • Build scalable people systems and processes that support organizational growth • Create a talent strategy and serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on organizational design, talent strategy, and culture • Manage the HR Manager and Recruiting Manager, providing coaching and strategic direction • Set team priorities, define success metrics, and ensure execution against quarterly OKRs • Make strategic decisions about team structure and capacity allocation • Foster collaboration across the recruiting and HR functions • Design and oversee the performance review process, including biannual reviews and probation reviews for new employees • Partner with managers to address performance issues and support employee development • Lead compensation planning, including annual compensation review • Ensure a positive employee experience from recruitment through offboarding • Work with the HR Manager to monitor employee engagement, implementing interventions as needed • Partner with leadership to navigate organizational change and transitions • Ensure compliance with employment laws across all jurisdictions where CEA operates • Lead investigations and resolution of sensitive employee relations issues • Oversee risk assessment for international expansion and new jurisdiction considerations

• Lead, support, and build a multi-functional operations team • Ensure CEA's core operational functions are reliable and fit for purpose as we scale • Drive continuous improvement across functional areas • Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team by translating strategic priorities into clear operational plans, decisions, processes, and execution across teams • Act as an outward-facing spokesperson and build our relationships with other organizations

• Own the strategy and execution of CEA's global group support programs • Determine which global groups to focus on serving • Develop support offerings that group organizers actively seek out • Achieve ambitious growth targets once the new offerings are ready • Manage the Organizer Support Coordinator • Lead a small team and set the strategic direction
