• Lead our 2026 election protection field programs in Georgia and Wisconsin • Lead the development and execution of election protection plans in alignment with our strategy for the November election for our teams in Georgia and Wisconsin • As needed, lead state coalition meetings and working groups to drive our strategy forward • Act as a spokesperson for Common Cause, including representing the organization in coalition spaces, speaking to the media, participating in partner events, and other activities • Develop a strategy to regularly communicate our work to funders and coalitions • Build and maintain strong relationships with critical voting and election coalition(s) partners • Support in state coalitions • Act as a representative for Common Cause in national coalitions • Support cross-state learning between Election Protection Organizers and progress toward goals • Convene and lead sessions for staff across the organization on cross-state learning and best practices • With states Vice Presidents and the Election Protection team, monitor and assess the effectiveness of state programs to ensure we reach our goals • Create reports for coalition partners and funders • Manage election protection organizers in Georgia and Wisconsin: set goals in partnership with state teams and state Vice Presidents, and coach Election Protection organizers as needed toward their goals • Promote collaboration between state teams and other teams across the organization, ensuring coordination and alignment on shared work and priorities • Other duties as assigned

This part-time internship is a remote role and will be 10-25 hours per week. Common Cause Wisconsin is launching its Media + Tech Pillar, a new initiative focused on helping communities engage with AI, misinformation, and civic access to information. This intern will support the launch from day one: owning social media content, providing project support to Tech Pillar, and helping coordinate an 8-district statewide listening tour. • Research and map our current hiring process to identify friction points and opportunities for enhancement • Audit and rewrite interview and rejection templates to ensure clarity, inclusivity, and alignment with our values • Develop employer-brand content that showcases our hiring philosophy and candidate experience • Support interview scheduling, coordination, and data tracking to uncover process bottlenecks • Contribute to internship program reviews and help implement recommended improvements
• Employee Experience Survey (EES) Pulse Check and ERG Member Survey: Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting related to these important employee feedback mechanisms. • L&D Knowledge Management System: Organize and update materials related to the Individual Professional Development (IPD) fund, and support the restructuring of the Employee Resource Hub. • ERG Lead Retreat Planning and Logistics: Contribute to the planning and execution of this annual event for our Employee Resource Group (ERG) leaders. • Data Collection and Analysis: Gather, synthesize, and interpret data to inform L&D initiatives and decisions. • Community Building: Support the development and engagement of our employee community, particularly through the ERGs. • Training Preparation and Facilitation: Assist with the preparation and delivery of L&D training programs, including basic facilitation skills.
This part-time internship is a remote role and will be 10-25 hours per week. Common Cause is seeking an intern to work with our Campaigns and Organizing team relating to election protection. The Election Protection Intern will play a key role in supporting our annual two-day internal Election Protection (EP) Seminar. This internship provides hands-on experience in program coordination, resource development, and stakeholder engagement within a fast-paced civic engagement environment. This part-time internship is a remote role and will be 15 hours per week. You will report to the Digital Director. Common Cause is seeking an intern to work with our Digital Campaigns teams relating to voting and elections, redistricting, and democracy reform. In this role you will assist with advocacy campaigns, grassroots engagement, research, policy development, communications, and/or member outreach and events. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a commitment to a fair and transparent democracy, and who is interested in learning more about government affairs and the legislative process. In this role you will assist with the development of the "People's Lobby Freedom School" that will be launched in the Summer 2026, along with the in-person convenings in up to 5 States.
