• Serve as a local ambassador and community liaison for CIEE BridgeUSA programs. • Identify and cultivate new host employer partnerships to support participant placement opportunities. • Promote awareness of CIEE programs and the value of international exchange within the community. • Support host employer outreach efforts by identifying businesses interested in participating in seasonal exchange programs. • Coordinate quarterly community engagement events involving host employers, participants, and community partners. • Maintain regular communication with internal CIEE teams regarding employer feedback, community trends, and partnership opportunities.
• Manage an active pipeline of custom program opportunities to meet annual sales goals. • Collaborate with the Institutional Relations team to generate new program leads and secure new institutional partnerships. • Build relationships with partners by understanding their needs and objectives and delivering strong customer service. • Collaborate with international teams to draft program budgets, create program proposals, and write contracts. • Manage the pre-departure planning and preparation process with partners and CIEE staff. • Engage in CIEE and industry conferences and events to sell and promote CIEE’s Custom Programs. • Assist with special projects and other tasks as necessary to ensure smooth operation of Custom Programs.
• Own annual application, Scholars Grant, and matching grant targets for all Fellowship Programs. • In partnership with Institutional Relations leadership, develop and execute an annual Sales & Marketing strategy to drive student applications and institutional engagement. • Develop and deliver training resources for Institutional Relations staff to effectively promote fellowship opportunities. • Conduct proactive outreach to high-potential institutions and priority student populations. • Use Salesforce and other systems to track leads, applicants, and conversion rates by institution and recruitment channel. • Support the expansion of CIEE’s global fellowship portfolio by developing scalable workflows, tools, and best practices. • Serve as a subject matter resource for the launch of new fellowship initiatives, ensuring alignment with established recruitment, sales, and operational frameworks. • Continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and performance as the fellowship portfolio grows. • Support internal and external promotion of fellowship programs through coordinated messaging, digital content, and virtual and campus-based outreach. • Collaborate with Marketing on web content, informational materials, and social media engagement related to global fellowships. • Manage and continuously improve application workflows, timelines, and internal review processes, ensuring scalability for future programs. • Coordinate clear and timely communications with applicants throughout the application, selection, and placement process. • Serve as the primary operational point of contact for fellows throughout the application and pre-departure process. • Track participant pre-departure requirements and compliance milestones.
• Oversight for the growth and implementation strategy of the Summer Work and Travel, Camp, and Hiring Services group. • Manage a team of directors and provide departmental leadership so that the team will effectively execute sales plans and meet or exceed placement goals. • Develop a sales and marketing strategy to ensure that CIEE meets its sales and placement goals for Work & Travel USA and Camp Exchange USA, including lead generation, cold calling, appointments, presentations, and obtaining commitments. • Develop hiring event strategy that maximizes CIEE placements at hosts. • Develop onboarding and training directors to help their staff develop effective sales strategies, hiring strategies, and strong relationships with host employers and community organizations. • Ensure that directors and their teams have the requisite knowledge and skills to meet both job sales and role fulfillment (placements). • Provide timely and specific feedback on performance to team members. • Track and evaluate weekly, monthly, and annual progress. • Perform annual performance setting and goals reviews for each direct report along with quarterly check-in reviews to check individual goal progress. • Engage in high-level sales activities. • Sell to prospective and current clients as required. • Create and conduct presentations and meetings with hosts, associations, and other stakeholders. • Build rapport with clients and stakeholders. • Collaborate with Participant Services to ensure the team is facilitating positive participant program experiences and team communication. • Collaborate with Senior Director of International Sales & Operations to foster relationships with International Representatives. • Review external events, such as trade shows, International Student Outreach Program events, and other activities to determine participation that will add to the growth of the programs and support sales. • In collaboration with the VP Placement Sales, Senior Director International Sales & Operations, and other leaders identify CIEE run/branded events or programming that will add stakeholder value to the program. • Willingness to travel required; regular business trips include domestic trips and overseas hiring events (20 – 30%). • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

• Maintain a comprehensive social media calendar with publish information, including by channel, that’s accessible across the larger marketing team. • Manage social listening platform for CIEE Study Abroad’s primary social media channels, including responding / engaging with posts as appropriate and/or escalating questions/comments as needed. • Track mentions of CIEE Study Abroad across social media by hashtag as well as across center locations. • Create and share relevant, engaging content aligned to the CIEE Study Abroad brand and designed to reach prospective college students. • Ensure alignment with brand tone and voice. • Review engagement reports across to evaluate what types of content types or delivery channels perform best and share/implement those recommendations as appropriate. • Support integrated marketing campaigns from a social media perspective by recommending and implementing social media strategies informed by data, metrics and best practice. • Maintain social media guidelines and best practices handbook to support CIEE Centers. • Track and measure key metrics to evaluate success and impact against student enrollment goals. • Scale ambassador and influencer programs by driving referral-based growth through social-driven initiatives. • Explore new content strategies and distribution channel, including testing opportunities, as part of the content marketing team. • Remain up-to-date on best practices in content and social media marketing.
• Develop and execute the US-focused employer sales strategy securing internship placements and matching students to those roles. • Define and implement sales strategies, management tools, and processes to meet aggressive sales goals. • Build a robust pipeline of employer partnerships, connecting directly to decision-makers and other influencers at target companies. • Leverage tools (e.g., Salesforce, Bookings, etc.) to drive efficiency, effectiveness, and accountability. • Analyze trends, opportunities, and competitors within the industry that will help you develop and maintain a strong understanding of the market and the space in which we compete. • Work with the marketing team and develop the collateral, pitch materials, and market positioning needed for successful employer conversations. • Adapt sales strategy and tactics based on local markets. • Where appropriate, pitch and develop strategic partnerships that will drive the success of the team’s work. • Manage employer partnerships to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. • Iterate and evolve value propositions for employers, adapting them for different industries/markets as appropriate. • Lead onboarding for new employer partners. • Actively manage relationships to grow partnerships year over year. • Drive recruitment process with host employers. • Serve as point of contact for host management needs. • Communicate and advocate the interests of employers to ensure successful placements and experience for both student/young professionals and the employer. • Manage expectations with host employers to ensure compliance with the U.S. Dept of State’s BridgeUSA (J-1 Visa) program.
• Generate program bills for participants and institutional customers. • Produce and maintain billing reports. • Work collaboratively with other departments on billing transactions. • Maintain billing agreements in the database. • Review multiple daily reports and enter corresponding adjustments in the financial system. • Validation of program pricing billed for each program term. • Resolve customer billing disputes, discrepancies, and irregularities. • Correspond with program participants and organizations to expedite the collection of outstanding receivables. • Assist with the month-end close, review, and posting of adjusting entries. • Other duties as assigned.
