• Responsible for processing bi-weekly and weekly payroll for both non-exempt and exempt staff. • Reviewing deductions, verifying totals, and auditing calculated wages to ensure accuracy of payroll. • Responding to and resolving moderately complex associate questions or problems. • Maintaining and documenting changes to payroll data within the HRIS system and/or Service Central ticketing system. • Working closely with the HR Department regarding payroll policy issues.
• Supports the District Director of Clinical Services (DDCS) in managing the healthcare operations of the communities in an assigned district • Helps ensure residents’ healthcare needs are met in compliance with state and federal regulations as well as Brookdale standards • Travels within the district as assigned to support management vacancy, training, auditing and any other area identified to ensure clinical excellence and meet state requirements • Fills the role of HWD in assigned communities when an HWD is on leave, extended vacation or the position is vacant • Provides clinical support and guidance for communities with regulatory deficiencies • Audits community clinical compliance and partners with other leaders to design and implement action plans as needed • Provides root cause analysis and hands on support to ensure clinical outcome are meeting standards and key areas are current • Ensures compliance post-cleanup as needed • Supports clinical initiatives and roll-outs by leading training for the district and/or individual communities as assigned by DDCS • Coordinates and signs resident assessments in some states • Facilitates RN Delegations for medications and care per state regulations • Participates in a variety of meetings with the division, district and individual communities • Provides training, coaching and guidance to clinical leaders and front line staff • Participates in clinical training and audits compliance • Assists DDCS in clinical Quality Assurance (QA) site visits • Provides insight to DDCS on overall assessment of community strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT)
• Responsible for verifying skilled nursing patient set up in PointClickCare (PCC), billing, and follow-up of skilled nursing Medicare, Managed Care, Medicaid, and coinsurance claims through clearing house, online portals, and via phone. • Perform quality assurance checks of patient information in PCC. • Bill initial and/or adjusted skilled nursing (SNF) claims for Managed Care, Medicare, Medicare copy claims, Benefit exhaust, no pays, Medicaid, and Coinsurance through Waystar clearing house, fax, or online portals. Billing SNF Private Pay statements thorough Waystar. • Create and bill carve out and high cost drug claims. • Performa revenue input, claim creation, billing, and follow-up of immunization charges to Medicare and Manage Care. • Maintain familiarity with current and past contracts with Managed Care companies. • Follow up on past due revenue for Medicare, Managed Care, Coinsurance, and Medicaid accounts. Maintain knowledge of past due revenue for monthly calls with communities and Finance Director. • Support communities with PCC, Medicare/Insurance, contract, and patient account questions that may arise. • Follow up on all SNF credit accounts to determine if refund or escheatment is due or PCC adjustment is needed. • Process write off and refunds via Service Now and PCC. • Perform month end closing of divested communities in PCC. • Track all claims for monthly billing deadlines. • Provides support for other team members as needed.
• Monitoring and reviewing account status reports to identify and resolve delinquent accounts • Providing quality customer service and collections in a high-volume, fast-paced, multi-channel contact center using automated call distribution and workload distribution software while accurately processing and recording customer contacts via the designated tracking software • Reviews aging and other reports to identify delinquent accounts, initiating collection process on overdue accounts by contacting customers via mail and/or telephone in order to obtain payment • Identify potential customer account issues through review of daily, weekly, and monthly generated reports and queries • Research and resolve potential billing errors, disputes, cash application, and other issues through regular customer account audits to ensure billing accuracy and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction • Coordinates with others, including field personnel, to develop, implement, and monitor collection strategy • Assisting in training community associates as pertains to collections procedures and functionality available in multiple proprietary systems • Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customers’ experience • Additional duties, as assigned
• Creates a safe, functional, and attractive environment in our senior living facilities for all projects (renovation projects or new projects) assigned by the Director of Interior Services • Makes site trips to buildings with Divisional Director of Property Management (DDPM) and determines scope of work required for the project, as required • Creates scope of work and reviews with Director of Interior Services, Asset Management and Operations • Selects finishes, furnishings and equipment for building and creates finish schedules, furniture & window treatment schedules and diagrams needed for contractors to perform work on site • Maintains communication with Executive Directors, Regional Directors and others throughout entire process • Establishes and maintains detailed records of all specifications and quotes and verifies that all information has been received by the Divisional Director of Property Management • Specifies artwork and accessories as needed • Follows up on installation dates / schedules with the Project Coordinator and DDPM • Verifies proper installation of all FF&E and finishes at assigned residences • Provides a post installation detailed document to Project Coordinator regarding missing items, damaged goods and contractor punch items upon project close out • Provides direction to team members as required • Establishes and maintains detailed electronic project files for future reference • Provides marketing assistance to communities as needed or per direction of Director of Interior Services • Attends regional and/or divisional meetings as needed or directed by the Director of Interior Services
