Role Description Ambitious and growing law firm looking for a Workers' Compensation Hearing Representative to deliver excellent service to clients. Opportunities for growth and advancement. This position is within the Workers' Compensation Department at Abramson Labor Group. You will have the opportunity to interact with the clients' files throughout the lifecycle of their case and attend hearings relevant to issues that may arise during a client's case. Newly barred attorneys or attorneys who recently passed the bar or wanted to pivot and learn Worker's Compensation. - Managing a docket of cases to resolution - Depositions: - Preparing client for deposition - Attending depositions - Invoicing Depositions - Responding to client inquiries that require attorney negotiations and moving matters towards resolution - Responsive to incoming emails and phone calls - Providing direction and guidance to non-attorneys as needed - Team Player: - Bringing positivity to the workplace and leading non-attorneys by example - Participation in team events during work and after work hours - Providing feedback to management to ensure ALG performs the best it can for our clients Qualifications - Comfortable with fast-paced work environments - Doctors' deposition experience (preferred) - Excellent writing and verbal communication skills - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Candidates must be in good standing with the California State Bar Requirements - MUST be California State Barred and reside in the state of California Benefits - Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage - Flexible time off plans including Unlimited Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays
