Trial Attorney

Abramson Labor Group

• Represent clients in court trials, hearings, arbitrations, and mediations • Develop case strategies and present arguments before judges and juries • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs • Interview witnesses, gather evidence, and prepare for trial • Negotiate settlements and plea agreements when appropriate • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on litigation matters • Work collaboratively with legal teams, paralegals, and investigators • Stay up to date with changes in laws, regulations, and legal precedents • Manage and supervise junior attorneys and support staff • Review and analyze complex employment law documents and contracts • Monitor compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements • Participate in client development and business generation activities • Maintain detailed case files and documentation • Develop and implement litigation budgets • Coordinate with expert witnesses and consultants

Job Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction(s)
  • 5+ years of litigation experience, preferably in class actions or complex civil litigation
  • Trial experience, including depositions, motions, and courtroom advocacy
  • Strong background in procedural rules governing class actions (e.g., Rule 23 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure)
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multi-million dollar class action settlements
  • Track record of successful class certification motions
  • Exceptional legal writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Strong negotiation and oral advocacy abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and meet strict deadlines
  • Proficiency in litigation technology and document management tools
  • Advanced knowledge of e-discovery platforms and legal research databases
  • Superior project management and team leadership capabilities

The role works closely with internal stakeholders across functions and regions to ensure legal risks are identified, managed, and aligned with business objectives, while supporting day-to-day business needs and strategic projects. Essential Functions Comprehensive support in all legal matters of the following business divisions: - Corporate Governance, incl.
