• The Service Sales Business Development Manager develops tactical and strategic customer plans to meet financial orders, sales and margin goals. • Responsible to grow the ABB EL Services portfolio including service engineering solutions, hardware solutions, aftermarket parts, and ABB Ability Digital Solutions within the Los Angeles metro area. • Own identifying, developing, and closing orders while supporting both the businesses short term and long-term goals. • Access the market by leveraging a combination of direct end customer engagement, the ABB EL Rep Network, ABB’s C&I, OEM, and Utility Sales Channels, Distribution Customers, and Direct End-Users. • Play a crucial role in implementing the service sales strategy, with a focus on penetrating installed base and promoting various upgrade, retrofit and value-added solutions.

• Work on-site with customers to identify opportunities for operational improvement and eliminate pain points. • Perform field service tasks, including identifying technical issues and conducting certified on-site troubleshooting. • Prepare material lists for service activities, ensuring all materials, parts, and equipment meet quality standards and are available. • Execute installation and commissioning, maintenance, repairs, extensions, upgrades, retrofits, end-of-life services, and replacements. • Build and maintain positive customer relationships to enhance satisfaction. • Identify potential new sales opportunities while addressing customer needs and communicate them internally. • Proactively detect potential equipment failures and recommend corrective actions. • Identify and suggest product and quality improvements. • Provide recommendations to management for improving operations and customer service. • Follow safety protocols and maintain safe work and environmental practices. • Report unsafe practices and incidents promptly.

• Develop and maintain a highly effective sales channel strategy focused on expanding System Integrators and Mechatronics sales for the Americas Region. • Plan and ensure the execution of the regional sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets. • Monitor assigned channel and product performance proactively, ensuring development and implementation of corrective actions. • Lead, develop, and coach the related Channel Sales organization within scope. • Define and execute regional channel sales strategies for System Integrators and Mechatronics, leveraging market insights and customer buying behaviors. • Develop strategic account plans and lead initiatives that improve sales processes, tools, and channel effectiveness. • Identify, recruit, develop, and manage channel partners while building strong relationships with key System Integrators and decision-makers. • Drive sales of automation and digital solutions, achieving revenue, profitability, and growth objectives across assigned territories. • Develop standardized solution offerings, pricing models, and sales collateral to accelerate proposals and improve scalability. • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial agreements while managing technical and business risk.

• Act as the technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments. • Ensure the activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are executed in an efficient and cost-effective manner. • Showcase your expertise by acting as a design authority for a particular engineering discipline and completing the corresponding engineering assignments. • Lead and support engineering design activities for new and existing utility, industrial, and commercial substation protection & control/automation systems, including planning, coordination, and execution of new and retrofit designs. • Develop engineering documentation and perform analyses such as schematics, logic diagrams, layouts, bills of materials, reports, and calculations to support accurate, standards-compliant system designs. • Manage project materials, construction design packages, and technical issue resolution while providing ongoing communication, status updates, and support to project teams, management, partners, and customers. • Ensure adherence to safety practices, industry standards, and company/customer requirements while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and participating in training to maintain technical proficiency.

• Support our rapidly growing Data Center’s Smart Power. • Startup and lead all on-site activities for large/complex project site work to assure cost-effective execution of project deliverables in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements during the start-up, construction and/or erection, and commissioning phase. • Manage on-site presence throughout the project, ensuring coordination and smooth execution of all work activities.

• Provide HSE Leadership to the Electrification Service organization, including our US Field Services organization with a focus on the United States West region (California) AND/OR South region (Southeast). • Evaluate HSE risks and challenges for new projects and develop appropriate risk mitigation strategies. • Develop and review completed site-specific safety plans with project management and customers; Assist in selection and training of job sites-based personnel; Collaborate with Electrification Service Functional Managers and business leaders to discuss and provide counsel on current issues that can be supported or resolved through existing, new, innovative and/or improved Learning & Development practices, processes, and policies. • Support the development and harmonization of required tools, programs, procedures, management systems, and ensure proper and sustainable implementation; Ensure that HSE programs/documentation required to support programs and management systems are comprehensive and current. • Implement and continuously optimize processes and procedures within area of functional responsibility in alignment with ABB guidance, policy, and procedures; • Maintain Digital systems and tools utilized to manage the EL Services HSE programs within the region (Benchmark / Intelex, and others) • Support the overall EL Services Electrical and LOTO program implementation to include policies, tools, training delivery, training content, and qualifications of trainers; • Lead, Conduct, Participate on Service Center and Field Service HSE audits for regulatory compliance and company requirements; • Manage digital analytics strategy to track business wide performance to targets and supports HSE metrics reporting requirements, internally and externally.
