Role Description The Corporate Instructor – Above the Wing (ATW) is responsible for delivering United Airlines and United Ground Express (UGE) training programs that prepare frontline Customer Service employees to operate safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company (UA/UGE) standards. As a subject matter expert and representative of the Learning & Development team, this role facilitates engaging classroom, virtual, and practical training while promoting a culture of safety, service excellence, and continuous learning. Corporate Instructors play a critical role in developing employees, supporting operational consistency, and ensuring training compliance across the UGE network. How you will make an impact: - Deliver Above the Wing training programs, including initial, recurrent, and operational update training. - Facilitate classroom, virtual, and hands-on instruction using approved training materials. - Evaluate learner performance through coaching, observation, and assessments. - Maintain accurate training records and complete required administrative responsibilities. - Manage training logistics, scheduling, expense reporting, and session closeout activities. - Support station launches, operational transitions, and special projects as assigned. - Partner with station leadership to reinforce operational standards and employee development. - Stay current on United Airlines policies, procedures, and operational updates. - Represent UGE's Core Values by fostering teamwork, modeling character, thinking strategically, and delivering results.
