Role Description
We're looking for a talented Client Strategist to join our remote team and help drive success for our clients through impactful strategies, exceptional relationship management, and data-driven decision-making.
The Client Strategist serves as the strategic advisor and primary point of contact for a dedicated portfolio of eyecare clients. This role is responsible for:

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of clients.

Build strong, trusted relationships through proactive communication and strategic consultation.

Lead recurring client meetings to review performance, discuss business goals, and recommend strategic initiatives.

Ensure clients understand the value and impact of their marketing investment.

Manage client expectations while maintaining a high standard of service.

Identify potential risks early and proactively resolve concerns to support long-term client satisfaction and retention.

Strategic Marketing Leadership

Develop and maintain comprehensive digital marketing strategies tailored to each client's goals.

Align marketing initiatives with business objectives, growth opportunities, and practice priorities.

Continuously review campaign performance and recommend adjustments based on data and industry trends.

Collaborate with internal specialists to ensure strategic execution across all marketing channels.

Identify opportunities to expand services that will benefit the client's business.

Performance Analysis & Reporting

Analyze marketing performance using tools such as Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Business Profile insights, SEO reporting, paid advertising metrics, call tracking, and other marketing platforms.

Translate complex marketing data into clear business insights and recommendations.

Prepare and present performance reports during client meetings.

Monitor campaign performance and recommend optimization opportunities based on measurable results.

Ensure marketing recommendations are backed by data and aligned with client objectives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner closely with Project Managers to ensure projects remain on schedule and clients receive timely updates.

Work alongside SEO, Paid Media, Content, Design, Development, and other internal teams to deliver high-quality marketing campaigns.

Clearly communicate client priorities and strategic direction to internal stakeholders.

Provide feedback that supports continuous improvement across service delivery.

Advocate for both the client and internal teams to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Client Growth & Retention

Build long-term partnerships focused on client success.

Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services when they align with client goals.

Support contract renewals through consistent delivery of value.

Monitor client health and proactively address risks that may impact retention.

Encourage referrals by delivering exceptional client experiences.

Industry Expertise

Develop a strong understanding of the optometry and ophthalmology industries.

Stay informed on digital marketing best practices, emerging technologies, AI tools, and industry trends.

Understand client business models and recommend marketing initiatives that generate measurable practice growth.

Continuously improve marketing knowledge through ongoing learning and professional development.
Qualifications

3+ years of experience in Account Management, Client Success, Digital Marketing, Marketing Strategy, or a similar client-facing role.

Strong understanding of digital marketing, including SEO, PPC, websites, social media, email marketing, and local search.

Experience presenting marketing performance to clients.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.

Experience working in a remote environment.

Specific Requirements

Standard working hours of 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST.
