Role Description Lanteris Space Systems is hiring a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE). In this role you will ensure the quality of material, components and products provided by Lanteris Suppliers. SQE will ensure that suppliers comply with Lanteris specifications and program requirements. This is performed by Supplier audits or actively performing inspections onsite at the supplier. This role is based remotely in the EST time zone. - Provide quality engineering, quality source inspection, material review board and quality improvement support for supplier related work. - Team with local work groups to provide integrated, proactive quality support while implementing the defined Lanteris quality system. - Conduct source inspection for domestic and foreign suppliers. - Audit/survey, maintain compliance to Lanteris supplier audit requirements. - Manage supplier NCR’s and MRB’s. - Assist in investigation of supplier non-conformances to include the root cause investigation and effective incorporation of robust corrective actions. - Maintain, add, and improve SQA documentation and procedure revisions. - Apply continuous improvement process through creative solutions. - Improve accuracy and understanding of the Supplier Rating System. - Use the Supplier Rating System to monitor and improve supplier’s performance. - Support PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR meetings. Qualifications - Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident. - Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of related work experience. Four additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree. - Ability to travel 50% of the time including international travel. Preferred Qualifications - Independent operator (remote position). - Superior communication and negotiation skills. - Excel and Power Point capable. Salary Information - The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 annually. - The base pay for this position within New Jersey is: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 annually. - The base pay for this position within Delaware is: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 annually. - The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $99,000.00 - $165,000.00 annually. - The base pay for this position within California is: $104,000.00 - $173,000.00 annually.
