Role Description This role involves supporting the Channel Development Sales team as a Channel Development Representative (CDR) Intern. You will gain exposure to channel sales, account strategy, and partner engagement. - Strategically identify target partners through account mapping, industry research, and understanding how our value propositions will benefit our ideal partner profiles. - Proactively and consistently reach out to ideal MSP/VAR partner prospects via phone, email, and LinkedIn to identify partnership opportunities. - Clearly articulate Intermedia’s unique value propositions for Unite, Contact Center, and Intermedia’s differentiated reseller program. - Schedule discovery meetings with prospects and collaborate closely with Partner Development Reps to run discovery presentations. - Learn how to demo our Unite solution and collaborate with our Partner Development Reps to provide high-level demonstrations to prospects. - Register partners to sign up with Intermedia and continue to own them through onboarding, ensuring partners complete their certifications and are enabled to begin reselling. - Collaborate with our Partner Account Management and Channel Development Management teams, effectively coordinating smooth introductions and handoffs for Account Managers to build a pipeline with newly recruited partners. - Use Salesforce and sales enablement tools to track activity, manage outreach, and build prospect lists. - Share customer insights and feedback with Sales and Marketing teams. - Be responsible for meeting or exceeding activity and meeting-booking goals throughout the internship. Qualifications - Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree on pace to graduate in the Spring or Summer 26’, ideally in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. - Interest in sales, technology, SaaS, or cloud communications. - Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with customers via phone and email. - High energy, curiosity, coachability, and a strong work ethic. - Comfort working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment. - Accountability to work from home in a dedicated, distraction-free workspace. - Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. - Previous sales, customer service, leadership, or campus involvement experience is a plus.
