• Represent NWADV as part of the team handling enforcement of court-awarded attorneys' fees (sucumbência), conducting proceedings in courts across all states; • Process publications, schedule deadlines in the case management system, analyze case files, prepare reports and meet deadlines; • Update calculations and subsequently contact opposing counsel to seek resolution of the dispute by settlement; • Draft defenses, appeals and various legal pleadings; • Handle Credit Recovery actions: Enforcement, Payment Order (monitória) and Collection proceedings; • Take steps to advance cases toward recovery of amounts due (request SISBAJUD, RENAJUD, INFOJUD, SNJ/“SNIPER”, etc.); • Conduct judgment enforcement, including preparation and challenge of calculations.

• The attorney will be responsible for processing court publications, scheduling deadlines in the case management system, analyzing more complex cases, preparing reports, requesting required actions/documents from the client, and meeting deadlines. • Must have experience drafting initial petitions (monitória/monitory claims, enforcement/execution, collection), defenses, counterclaims (reconvenção), appeals (Recurso Inominado, Apelação, Embargos de Declaração, Recurso Especial - RESP, Recurso Extraordinário - REXT, Agravo Interno, Agravo nos Autos in RESP and REXT), and both simple and, primarily, more complex submissions. • Desirable expertise in banking and mass litigation (plaintiff and defendant), drafting procedural pleadings, deadline management, and experience handling the following types of actions: • Bank as Plaintiff (or Credit Recovery): Execution actions, Embargos to Execution (objections to enforcement), Monitória (monitory claims) and Collection actions; • Bank as Plaintiff (Active Actions): Lease renewal actions (Ação Renovatória de Locação), Rent review actions (Ação Revisional de Aluguel); • Bank as Defendant (or passive party): Rent review actions, Actions for Damages, Declaratory actions, Actions for Accounting (Prestação de Contas), Precautionary/Interim relief; • Must have experience managing cases at the merits stage (fase de conhecimento) and in enforcement of judgments or liquidation of judgments; • Responsible for answering all client inquiries submitted via the internal system and email; • Responsible for handling client requests sent by spreadsheet; • Responsible for handling the most complex matters and urgent measures requested by the client; • Responsible for entering procedural information into the firm's case management system; • Responsible for analyzing waiver/withdrawal of appeals (autodispensa de recursos); • Responsible for drafting all types of appeals and initial petitions; • Responsible for requesting enforcement of obligations to do or to pay; • Responsible for requesting supporting information or legal subsidies.
