Utility Market Manager

• Help shape the future of a more reliable, resilient, and sustainable grid. • Lead go‑to‑market strategy across power generation, transmission, distribution, and smart grid solutions. • Translate market intelligence into bold plans, open new doors with utility customers, and partner with sales, product, engineering, and marketing to deliver outcomes that matter. • Build and execute market strategies across utility segments. • Discover trends and opportunities through deep research. • Grow qualified pipeline and market share. • Lead customer engagements and cultivate senior relationships. • Orchestrate cross‑functional teams to deliver winning solutions. • Develop tailored proposals, cases, and presentations. • Track KPIs and provide clear, data‑driven insights. • Represent Hitachi Energy at industry events. • Inform product roadmaps with customer and market feedback. • Stay ahead of regulatory shifts and technology advancements. • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related; Master’s a plus.
  • 7 minimum years in utility sector market management.
  • 5 years minimum of leading a team of people.
  • Expertise in generation, transmission, distribution, smart grids, renewables, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven record delivering growth through go‑to‑market strategy.
  • Willing to travel up to 40%
  • Strong analytics, communication, and stakeholder influence skills; effective independently and in cross‑functional teams.
  • Proficient with CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft 365; willing to travel domestically and internationally.
