Managed Services Product Line Manager
Ciena
• Manage day‑to‑day inquiries for the managed services portfolio and support RFP activities • Develop, track, and manage offers through the New Service Introduction process, partnering with Marketing to advance enablement plans • Build KPIs aligned to industry benchmarks and assess portfolio performance and competitive insights • Lead sales enablement programs to drive adoption of managed services across global field teams • Drive offer innovation by evaluating pricing, cost optimization, portfolio expansion opportunities, and market trends • Represent the managed services portfolio during product release cycles to ensure alignment with new product capabilities • Translate customer and internal stakeholder requirements into roadmap enhancements
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration, or equivalent industry experience
- 10+ years in telecommunications and/or technology
- 3+ years of Product Line Management experience
- High‑level understanding of Layer 0–3 networking technologies and Ciena solutions (6500, Routing & Switching, MCP)
- Ability to develop and assess commercial deal sheets, P&Ls, and business financials
- Proven ability to work from broad direction and independently drive tasks to completion
- Experience supporting globally distributed teams
