• Lead complex, cross-functional programs aligned to enterprise priorities, corporate transformation goals, and long-term growth initiatives. • Translate high-level strategy into clear program roadmaps, milestones, success metrics, and execution plans. • Establish strong program governance, risk management, and communication rhythms to ensure alignment and momentum across stakeholders. • Proactively identify interdependencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities to accelerate impact across initiatives. • Drive enterprise transformation initiatives spanning operations, AI first processes, technology, and data. • Partner with business and technical leaders to modernize workflows using automation, GenAI, and scalable platforms. • Support the design and rollout of AI-enabled solutions that improve decision-making, efficiency, and scalable growth. • Apply structured change management principles to support adoption, behavior change, and sustained impact. • Partner with analytics team members to define success metrics and KPI frameworks for strategic initiatives. • Leverage business intelligence tools and data analysis to track performance, identify trends, and surface actionable insights. • Build executive-ready narratives that connect data to outcomes, risks, and opportunities. • Champion a data-driven mindset across programs, ensuring decisions are grounded in evidence and insight. • Act as a connective tissue across functions—aligning strategy, execution, and analytics into a coherent enterprise story. • Facilitate executive and cross-functional working sessions to drive clarity, alignment, and decision-making. • Serve as a trusted partner to leaders, helping them navigate ambiguity and translate goals into executable action.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- Preferred: PMP, Change Management frameworks certifications or similar
- 5+ years of experience in program or project management, operations, consulting, analytics, change management or business transformation roles
- Experience working across industries and/or functions is a plus
- Demonstrated success in driving cross-functional initiatives with senior stakeholders
- Exposure to or leadership of digital transformation and AI-enabled initiatives in a business context
- Strong analytical orientation , with experience using data and business intelligence to inform decisions and measure outcomes
- Current GenAI tool stack knowledge and custom GPT (Copilot Agents, or similar) development experience
- Familiarity with BI and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar); ability to translate insights for executive audiences
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and evolving environments, with a bias toward action and outcomes
- Excellent communication skills —able to synthesize complex topics into clear, compelling narratives
- Curiosity and interest for AI-enabled process improvement and operational effectiveness.

Role Description Bowhead seeks a Program Manager to provide leadership and contract management support across multiple installations and contracts that are primarily supporting logistics, transportation, and warehouse services. It is preferred that this Program Manager will work out of our Huntsville, AL office but remote work is a possibility for the highly qualified candidate. - Provide overall program leadership and day-to-day oversight for multiple non-technical service contracts supporting logistics, transportation, warehouse, and repair operations. - Serve as the primary point of contact for Government CORs/ACORs, ensuring contract compliance, responsiveness, and professional engagement. - Lead and manage supervisory staff and frontline employees, enforcing standards of conduct, performance expectations, and accountability. - Identify performance, behavioral, or compliance issues and initiate corrective actions in coordination with HR and Operations leadership. - Oversee workforce planning, staffing levels, scheduling, and coverage to ensure uninterrupted mission support. - Manage subcontractor and vendor coordination, where applicable, to support repair, transportation, and logistics requirements. - Monitor contract deliverables, reporting requirements, and metrics to ensure timeliness and quality. - Proactively identify operational risks, team dynamic issues, and mission impacts; implement mitigation strategies. - Support budgeting, cost control, and financial tracking in coordination with Finance and Operations. - Assist with business development activities, including proposal writing, technical narratives, staffing approaches, and past performance content. - Support transition-in/transition-out activities and continuous process improvement initiatives. - Ensure compliance with Bowhead policies, labor agreements, safety requirements, and Government regulations. - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications - A Bachelor's degree is required at a minimum; however, additional years of experience and certifications may be substituted for a highly qualified candidate. - Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience managing logistics, transportation, warehouse, or repair support services in a Government or industrial environment is required. - Demonstrated experience managing SCA-covered and unionized workforces, including compliance with CBAs and labor standards. - Proven ability to lead teams, address employee conduct issues, and execute corrective action when required. - Experience supporting multiple contracts or sites simultaneously with competing priorities. - Strong knowledge of Government contracting environments, including COR engagement and performance management. - Experience contributing to business development activities, including proposal writing and operational planning. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with Government leadership. - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and standard contract reporting tools. - Ability to pass background checks and meet site access requirements at supported locations. Requirements - Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. - Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time. - Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically. - Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
