Technical Project Manager – Intelligent Infrastructure

• Facilitate and lead test initiatives for a defined customer (internal or external) or user. • Provide full accountability for project schedules, project management, and performance requirements for infrastructure, test development and Framework level projects. • Responsible for ensuring all the NPI: Infrastructure, Server, Rack, GCTD (Global Cloud Test Development) test project requirements and/or objectives are correctly gathered, understood, and properly translated for execution. • Drive NPI: Server, Rack, GCTD test project/program tasks to completion in accordance with the project schedule. • Support Infrastructure NRE planning, implementation, and coordinate with Factory teams. • Review NPI Server, Rack, GCTD test project schedules with functional managers allocated to NPI projects. • Obtain and summarize current test project information and milestone status versus project performance baseline. • Report NPI: SUT, RUT GCTD test project status, issues and implemented solutions as well as evaluations and assessments of the results. • Triage technical bugs and feature requests alongside engineering stakeholders for purposes of prioritization, resourcing, and tracking execution. • Management of GCTD test resource capacity and time tracking allocated to NPI test projects. • Accountable for overall NPI: Server (SUT), (Rack), GCTD test project success - including schedule, quality, and scope management. • Participate in the exchange of ideas and information within the test department and with other Jabil facilities to ensure best practices are shared throughout the company. • Drive clear and consistent test project update messages for a variety of diverse audiences, ensuring relevance and effectiveness of delivery. • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 8 years work-related experience required in project management or related discipline.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Jabil operating policies and procedures required.
- Ability to learn/acquire knowledge of Jabil’s culture and guiding principles.
- Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.
- Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally, up to 25%, may be required.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- 10+ years Project Management experience is preferred
- Experience working in a multi-site and multi-cultural environments is preferred.
