Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive financial experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting preferred

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounting team, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. • Oversee all accounting operations and financial reporting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, revenue, tax compliance and equity. • Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings in compliance with GAAP. • Establish, maintain, and continuously improve internal controls, accounting policies, and standard operating procedures to support a strong control environment and scalable growth. • Manage the annual financial statement audit, tax compliance, and relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other service providers. • Partner with the VP, Finance to prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses that inform strategic decision-making. • Identify and implement process improvements and systems enhancements to increase efficiency and scalability. • Support strategic initiatives, new product launches, system implementations, and other significant business transactions, as needed. • Assist in preparing complete financial statements and submit to the manufacturer and management in accordance with established timeframes • Manage the day to day accounting operations of the store to ensure that all transactions are recorded in compliance with all AutoNation accounting processes and policies • Close the books accurately each month • Prepare and submit required statements and reports • Manage and safeguard the stores assets and ensure that internal controls are in place • Assist department managers in reading and interpreting their financial reports and in creating action plans needed to improve their operation • Respond to request for information and assistance in a timely manner • Work with regional staff to ensure that corporate initiatives are attained
• Act as the in-charge and main-point-of-contact for multiple clients • Managing workflow and coordination of work amongst Aduro team members including but not limited to your Director or Senior Controller, Accounting Managers, Staff Accountants and Management Company Team members • Setting up and running recurring client check-in calls covering current status, open items, and any updates from the client on upcoming operational needs • Responding to ad-hoc client requests in a thoughtful and professional manner in-line with Aduro processes and industry best practices • Respond to all client request emails within 24 hours • Reconcile banking transactions and prepare journal entries in accordance with US GAAP in Xero • Drive month-end close process and raise follow-up questions to Director, CFO or client as appropriate • Reconcile and maintain investment information for all fund investments • Prepare quarterly financial statements including partners’ capital allocations • Utilize proprietary investment management database to send investor correspondence including capital contributions, distributions, and quarterly reporting • Update proprietary investment management database for fund activity and investments • Prepare audit materials and manage year-end financial statement audit and tax work • Respond to ad hoc General Partner / Limited Partner data requests
