Vice President, Program Management – Systems & Informatics

Siemens Healthineers

• Multiple large and complex systems projects in a regulated environment, driving all aspects of project lifecycle management from program initiation to closure to realize the strategic objectives of the Core Lab (CLS) business • Large, complex cloud hosted informatics application projects • Leading a staff of Program Managers and Core Team Leaders for systems/informatics projects • Managing substantial project budgets and resources • Delivering on all phase gates of multiple projects including but not limited to quality and schedule deliverables • Managing stakeholders including clear communication of progress/risks to Integrated Business Planning (IBP) governance teams • Ensuring team compliance to Product Delivery Excellence (PDx)

Job Requirements

  • Comprehensive experience in Project Management disciplines for Medical Devices, including ample experience in managing complex software, hardware and system Product Development projects
  • The ability to assess/align projects to our organizational strategy and project business case to maintain the Project Value Proposition
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams across multiple geographies to develop, implement and manage detailed project plans including timelines, resources and budgets
  • Required knowledge to ensure that project activities comply with FDA and other regional regulatory requirements
  • The ability to analyze project constraints and risks to identify mitigations and opportunities
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience working with 3rd party external partners and OEMs
  • Technical bachelor’s degree such as in Engineering or Life Sciences required
  • 15+ years of experience in product development project management with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects
  • 5+ years of experience in a regulated environment such as the life sciences, pharmaceutical or medical device industries, preferably Lab Diagnostics
  • Certification in project management preferred
