Role Description This role brings deep expertise in the data space—spanning data governance, data catalog, and AI concepts—along with strong command of the broader data ecosystem. That technical depth is paired with solid industry acumen across our target verticals, including Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and Hospitality and Travel. The Deployment Strategist drives high-impact deployments at the intersection of data intelligence, AI, and governance, acting as a credible technologist who is fluent enough in both AI and governance conversations to earn trust with business and technical stakeholders alike. What You’ll Do - Partner with account teams throughout the sales cycle as the key technical advisor and product advocate - Understand a customer's AI/data architecture and pinpoint where Alation fits and adds value - Lead discovery sessions that surface business and governance challenges - Own the technical scope of proof-of-value (POV) engagements, pilots, and adoption workshops, driving each to a clear outcome - Deliver compelling product demonstrations—both full-platform walkthroughs and focused deep dives—tailored to enterprise stakeholders - Translate AI and platform architecture concepts into terms enterprise stakeholders can act on - Navigate common data and cloud platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, GCP, Azure) confidently enough to speak credibly about how Alation integrates with a customer's existing stack - Build a defensible, data-backed value story that links technical capability to business impact, driving evaluations to close - Bring a working governance perspective to conversations where relevant, connecting technical work to business outcomes - Partner with account teams to surface expansion opportunities that emerge from your work Qualifications - 6–8 years in technical delivery, solutions consulting, or forward-deployed customer-facing roles at data/AI platform companies - Strong understanding of AI technologies, architecture, and the broader ecosystem (LLMs, agent patterns, data platforms) - Working knowledge of common enterprise data and cloud platforms—Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, GCP, Azure - Prior exposure to data or AI governance concepts, with the ability to translate them into customer value conversations - Proven experience engaging enterprise stakeholders and communicating value to both practitioners and business leaders, pre- or post-sale - Able to translate ambiguous technical and business requirements into a clear plan, whether that's an evaluation or a delivery roadmap Requirements - Travel: ~15–30% for customer onsite visits Compensation Pay Range $136,312.00 - $184,021.00 The base salary range is specific to the United States. The salary of the final candidate selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to internal equity, experience, education, work location, specialty and training. If the final candidate has a different level of experience, the base salary target range may be lower or higher than what is published. We are seeking a Technical Knowledge Enablement Specialist to join our team. This is a fully remote opportunity based out of the United States. Job Summary The Technical Knowledge Enablement Specialist supports Imprivata’s Customer Support organization by transforming technical subject matter expertise, knowledge gaps, support case trends, and recurring escalation drivers into clear, actionable knowledge and enablement resources for the department. This role focuses on creating and maintaining technical knowledge articles, troubleshooting guides, decision trees, internal runbooks, training materials, and other support enablement content that improves case handling quality and resolution efficiency. The role works closely with Application Support SMEs, Knowledge Management, Support, Product, and Engineering to identify knowledge gaps, capture technical workflows, and document repeatable troubleshooting practices. Operating within the broader Knowledge Management program, this role helps ensure Support teams have the information, context, and tools needed to troubleshoot effectively and escalate with complete, accurate information.
