Role Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role is ideal for professionals with experience supporting U.S.-based companies while operating from Mexico, combining expertise in accounting, financial reporting, and compliance with both Mexican tax regulations and U.S. accounting practices. What You'll Do - Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliations. - Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. - Maintain financial records in accordance with U.S. accounting standards and Mexican tax regulations. - Perform account reconciliations and ensure data accuracy. - Process journal entries, accruals, and month-end/year-end closing activities. - Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. - Assist with financial audits and ensure compliance with internal controls. - Collaborate with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors. - Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports. - Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes through automation and technology. - Support cross-border financial operations between the United States and Mexico. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - 3+ years of accounting experience supporting U.S. and/or Mexican operations. - Advanced experience using QuickBooks Online. - Strong understanding of Mexican tax regulations and accounting principles. - Experience preparing financial reports and reconciliations. - Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas). - Excellent analytical and organizational skills. - High attention to detail and accuracy. - Professional English proficiency (B2+ preferred). - Ability to work independently in a remote, multicultural environment.
