• Define and own the quality strategy across supported pods, covering unit, integration, contract, end-to-end, performance, and resilience testing • Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and quality gates integrated into CI/CD pipelines • Review and validate AI-assisted development outputs, helping teams adopt effective quality practices • Plan and execute non-functional testing aligned with DORA operational resilience expectations • Collaborate with Business Analysts to ensure specifications are clear, testable, and meet acceptance criteria • Establish quality metrics, observability practices, and continuous improvement feedback loops • Coach and support transferring bank engineers in adopting modern automation approaches
Job Requirements
- Strong background in test automation across the full testing lifecycle and modern test pyramid
- Hands-on experience with contemporary testing frameworks, CI/CD quality integration, and writing/maintaining test code
- Experience with scalability and resilience tools (such as k6 or similar)
- Understanding of contract testing for distributed, API-driven, and event-based systems
- Awareness of regulatory, security, and operational resilience expectations within financial services is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills in English
