Operations and Maintenance Technician
Ameresco
• Establish a safety-centric team culture. • Ensure compliance with DOT requirements and manuals. • Proactively prevent accidents and enhance safety. • Drive continuous safety improvement throughout the organization. • Report incidents, support investigations, and take action. • Operate and maintain the facility in compliance with permits. • Build a compliance-focused and environmentally conscious team. • Develop and maintain a proactive equipment maintenance plan. • Coordinate and perform maintenance activities efficiently. • Oversee planned maintenance outages and manage records. • Collaborate to achieve plant production goals. • Identify upgrades for safety and facility reliability. • Build a team focused on continual plant reliability improvement. • Respond to and manage plant issues beyond regular hours. • Support Plant Manager in budgeting and cost management. • Propose cost reductions without compromising safety or production. • Maintain operator qualification and training programs. • Revise and develop plant standard operating procedures. • Handle material orders, schedule deliveries, and approve invoices. • Cultivate positive relationships with stakeholders. • Review reports for accuracy and assist in special projects. • Perform other required duties.
Job Requirements
- High School graduate or GED
- Minimum of 5 years of direct experience with operation and maintenance in an industrial setting
- Ability to Successfully Pass a DOT background check
- Minimum of 2 years experience with operations in Renewable Natural Gas or Natural Gas Pipeline Operations and Maintenance (preferred)
- Formal and relevant technical training through military service, trade school, industrial experience, or technical training schools desired
- Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering or technical discipline a plus
- Working knowledge of reading and interpreting system drawings and/or P&IDs
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook a plus
- Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills are required.
