As a Technical Project Manager , you will lead the successful execution of complex customer projects from initial planning through implementation and closeout. Working cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Service, and external customers, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with technical, quality, and regulatory requirements. You will serve as the primary technical project leader, coordinating resources, managing project risks, and driving execution through each phase of the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities - Lead multiple technical projects from proposal through final customer acceptance. - Partner with Sales and customers during the proposal (RFP) phase to understand technical requirements and define project scope. - Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, milestones, resource plans, and budgets. - Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Service, and external partners. - Monitor project performance, proactively identifying risks, resolving issues, and communicating project status to stakeholders. - Manage project budgets and support cost control initiatives throughout execution. - Coordinate supplier and vendor activities to ensure project deliverables are met. - Oversee system testing, validation activities, and customer acceptance processes. - Ensure all technical documentation, project records, and deliverables are completed in accordance with company quality standards. - Drive projects through each Quality Gate (Q-Gate) milestone while ensuring compliance with established project management processes. - Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Sciences, Project Management, or a related field. - Experience leading complex technical or engineering projects from initiation through completion. - Strong knowledge of project management principles including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management. - Experience working with cross-functional technical teams. - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills. - Experience working with customer-facing technical projects is highly desirable. - PMP certification or equivalent project management training is a plus.
