Job Description

Site Manager – 100% Travel

Bureau Veritas Group

• Responsible for coordination of the construction on the project • Manages and coordinates all on-site construction activities for compliance with the project schedule and monitors and enforces compliance with contract requirements • Supervises and mentors all managers; monitors their activities and provides leadership • Monitors and reports on construction productivity and schedule performance (including trends) to the owners Project Manager • Takes actions necessary to meet project budget and schedule requirements • Directs implementation of construction schedule recovery plans as required • Coordinates the Construction Completion Walk down, and manages the close out of all punch list items • Assists owners with landowner/public relations • Conducts daily coordination meeting with field staff & contractors • Reports weekly schedule and commodity installation status to the owners Project Manager • Monitors extra work authorization requests, back charges and supplier and subcontractor progress/final payment requests for acceptance and is responsible for subordinates providing the timely tracking information to Project Administrator • Has full knowledge of the safety program and acts as the Safety Representative on site in the absence of the regular owners Safety Supervisor • Has general knowledge of all disciplines of construction and is able to stand in for each lead discipline • Resolves safety and quality issues with the contractor’s safety and quality managers • Understands the major commercial and deliverable terms of the construction contracts and manages within these terms • Writes the construction portion of the construction monthly report • Coordinates with the Field Engineers or home office engineers on engineering deliverables • Responsible for the effective management of construction Manufacturer’s Service Technicians and the timesheet tracking of hourly employees • Supports continuous improvement efforts and the change management effects associated with the implementation of improvements.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years as a Construction Manager (preferred in the renewable field)
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred
  • Current driver’s license
  • Experience with solar energy, wind energy, transmission line or related projects of 20M+
  • General knowledge of construction principles/practices required
  • Experienced dealing with subcontracts, subcontractors and/or self-perform work
  • Experience leading successful project team, including development of employee and maintaining relationships with external entities

Role Description As a Change Manager, you will be a driver of process and facilitator of efficient and compliant changes across InComm's technology landscape. Responsibilities - Quickly obtain a high-level understanding of InComm’s IT technology landscape and how various platforms interact with one another to schedule changes that do not conflict with other changes causing unplanned outages. - Support internal customers with the preparation of change requests using the documented process and requirements. - Analyze change requests against the documented process to ensure all required details, artifacts, and pre-approvals are in place before approving for CAB meetings. - Oversee the Change Calendar by coordinating all change requests across different business calendars to align updates with business objectives and avoid deploying conflicting configuration items at the same time. - Create and maintain change maintenance windows on the Change Calendar, including those to signify business-critical periods such as month and quarter end and change blackout windows. - Track change request scheduled end times to ensure timely closure. - Assess the impact and risk of all changes on business operations using the process documentation. - Exercise discretion and independent judgement to make decisions that could impact InComm financially and reputationally. - Collaborate with all IT technology teams to ensure major projects adhere to plan, impacting InComm’s annual audits as Change Management is a key area of focus. - Provide after-hours on-call support, managed in a rotation approximately every 5 weeks. - Assist in the preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on established metrics as required. - Assist in training and communicating the change management process to the IT user community as required. - Support internal and external audits as required. - Independently maintain and continuously update change process documentation, including detailed “how-to” guides, ServiceNow Knowledge Base articles, and email templates. - Drive process improvement and automation initiatives by streamlining approvals, risk scoring, template management, and reporting; continuously enhance workflows to support operational efficiency and organizational maturity. - Other duties as required.
