The primary responsibility of the CAD Designer is to create computer aided modeling required to enable the design and fabrication of our fusion devices. You will work closely with Engineers and Scientists and will also be responsible for: - Translating mechanical design requirements into an integrated 3D configuration models. - Developing interfaces between and among stellarator systems and resolve any conflicts. - Developing accurate CAD models based on given specifications. - Converting CAD models into technical drawings for fabrication, accurate and concise callouts for fabrication specifications, and help coordinate the fabrication of components. Role Description The ECAD Designer is an experienced technical contributor responsible for completing medium-to-complex PCB layout tasks, generating ECAD documentation, and supporting the quality of design data within the ECAD team.
