Role Description We are looking to hire a Sr. Technical Project Manager within our Professional Services Team with the opportunity to work with customers such as Woolworths, McPhersons, and Carman’s Kitchen. The Sr. Technical PM is a Project Management Expert responsible for the project gantt, budget, and timeline, orchestrating activities to mitigate risk and hit targets jointly with customers. In this role, you will: - Collaborate with customers while providing best practice recommendations, consulting services, and expert project management governance to ensure success of their implementation. - Work cross-functionally with teams including Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Customer Success, Customer Support, and Software Engineering. - Engage in a 20-30 hr per week contract hire with the potential to convert to a full-time hire. Responsibilities and Duties - Plan, organize, and manage all phases of projects aligned to the Specright Implementation Methodology to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery, customer satisfaction, quality deliverables, and exceptional project governance. - Guide resources and customers to provide impactful solutions resulting in highly referenceable accounts enabling strong adoption, renewal, and upsell. - Navigate complex, politically charged customer environments to drive decisions and outcomes. - Act as a Solution Consultant supporting conversations throughout the project lifecycle, including participation in requirements gathering sessions and assisting in QA testing. - Utilize Project Management principles to establish full implementation plans including defining scope, deliverables, dependencies, duration estimates, resource estimates, risk identification and mitigation, and contingency planning. - Communicate project boundaries with customers and negotiate mutual plans that keep projects on schedule, timeline, and scope. - Be customer-centric in style and approach, with a genuine desire to create and deliver value with outstanding customer experiences. - Maintain up-to-date required product and project management knowledge. - Collaborate with the Specright team to proactively uncover additional customer needs and possible upsell opportunities. - Adopt and evangelize our Specright implementation methodology and provide ongoing input to maintain and enhance our methodology. - Support organization initiatives to enhance and expand our team’s knowledge and services offerings. - Train and mentor new Project Managers within the team. Qualifications - Industry experience in Salesforce Consultancy, Food and Beverage, and Manufacturing. - 7+ years of project management experience required in SaaS, preferably Salesforce.com related. - Great communication skills to convey implementation objectives, project boundaries, and drive projects to successful outcomes for internal stakeholders and customers. - Ability to develop credibility and trust from customers and internal stakeholders with technical acumen on the solution and project management expertise. - Comfort in presenting to C-suite executives on project health and discussing difficult topics to drive mutual resolution. - Experience and ability to manage highly complex Enterprise software projects. - Certinia (formerly Financial Force) project management experience.
