Location: Remote US Nationwide What you will be doing: World Wide Technology, LLC has an opportunity available for a Sr. Network Engineer to support our Government Services team. This position will focus on Engineering and support within a customer’s environment. Key Responsibilities: - Handle escalated network incidents requiring advanced troubleshooting, analysis, and root-cause identification. - Perform intermediate configuration and maintenance of switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure. - Analyze recurring issues and recommend improvements to reduce incident volume. - Assist in implementing network changes, upgrades, and optimizations under the guidance of senior engineers. - Conduct deeper investigation of performance degradations, routing issues, and VLAN/subnet misconfigurations. - Monitor and interpret network performance metrics to proactively detect problems. - Review Tier 1 escalations, provide guidance, and help train Tier 1 staff in troubleshooting methodologies. - Maintain detailed documentation for network configurations, SOPs, and topology information. - Collaborate with engineering teams on project tasks, migrations, or new technology deployments. Required Qualifications - Secret clearance or Public Trust - 8+ years of relevant network engineering or architecture experience - CCNP, ITIL, or ITSM - Possesses an industry‑recognized advanced networking certification Want to learn more about Government Services? A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $110,000.00 to $120,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
