Division Story Job Description THE ROLE: The Vice President, Event Sponsorships and Activation is responsible for building and leading A+E Global Media's sponsorship business across its growing portfolio of live events, experiences, and integrated media offerings. This executive will drive sponsorship revenue by developing sponsorship strategies and strategic partnerships that leverage A+E's premium brands, content, audiences, and live experiences. MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO: Build the Sponsorship Business - Develop and execute the sponsorship sales strategy across A+E Global Media's live events portfolio. - Establish annual revenue goals, business plans, and growth strategies to build a scalable sponsorship organization with Revenue Management and Sr Sales Leadership. - Develop sponsorship packaging, pricing, inventory strategy, and integrated partnership offerings in partnership with others within the Sales Division and other Divisions (ex: marketing, programming, PR) - Identify new revenue opportunities by combining live events with digital, social, branded content, experiential marketing, hospitality, and talent integrations. - Build a sustainable pipeline of new business while expanding long-term strategic partnerships. Drive Revenue Growth - Lead the pursuit and negotiation of high-value sponsorship opportunities with Fortune 500 brands, agencies, and strategic partners. - Personally manage executive-level client relationships and key partnership negotiations. - Develop multi-event and multi-year sponsorship agreements that maximize long-term value. - Establish disciplined forecasting, pipeline management, and sales performance metrics. - Consistently achieve and exceed annual sponsorship revenue goals. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - 10+ years of experience in sponsorship sales, brand partnerships, integrated marketing, media sales, or live event commercialization. - 7+ years of leadership experience managing high-performing sales organizations. - Ability to travel as needed - At least 7+ years of demonstrated success generating multi-million-dollar sponsorship revenue through consultative, strategic selling. - Prior experience building and scaling sponsorship or partnership businesses. - Can bring a strong network of senior marketing executives, agency leaders, and brand decision-makers. - At least 5+ experience developing integrated sponsorship programs across live events, digital media, branded content, social platforms, and experiential marketing. Compensation Annual Pay Range: $230,769 - $270,000 Annual Incentive Target: 25.00% The annual/hourly pay range displayed serves as a good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base pay range for this role.
