Central States
• Develops and implements strategic sales plans to meet/exceed goals for their assigned territory. • Aggressively develops new business through the Central States Building Works sales process. • Performs ongoing market analysis of the competition, their offerings, and market penetration. • Understands barriers for growth in territory and proposes corrective actions to address the barriers. • Maintains an in-person presence in the market, visiting prospects, competition, and job sites. • Train customers on product specifications, marketing materials, online tools, sales techniques, and product installation before hand-off to Account Management Team. • Gathers market intelligence for pricing decisions.
Job Requirements
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years previous experience in developing new business, retaining existing clients, and sourcing new customers
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to manage pipelines and opportunities
- Graduate degree in a related field of engineering, business, construction management, finance, or architecture (preferred)
- Previous experience in the metal building industry (preferred)
- Experience in using MBS, ACT and other estimating tools (preferred)
