Role Description UN/COMMON is seeking an experienced Senior Email Designer to support email marketing and retention-focused creative initiatives across multiple ecommerce clients. This engagement focuses on the development of high-quality email campaigns, lifecycle marketing assets, and related creative deliverables that support client retention strategies. - Design high-performing email campaigns, automated lifecycle flows, and retention marketing assets for ecommerce brands. - Create visually compelling and conversion-focused creative solutions aligned with client brand guidelines and business objectives. - Develop email concepts, layouts, and visual systems that support retention and customer engagement strategies. - Collaborate with retention strategists, marketers, copywriters, and creative stakeholders to deliver projects on time and according to scope. - Execute projects from concept through final delivery while maintaining quality and consistency across all assets. - Create motion-based elements, GIFs, and lightweight animations when appropriate to enhance customer engagement. - Provide constructive design feedback during project reviews and creative discussions. - Contribute recommendations for improving creative workflows, efficiency, and project execution. - Maintain awareness of performance objectives and incorporate data-informed design decisions into deliverables. - Support occasional internal marketing or business development creative needs as requested. Qualifications - 4+ years of professional design experience, preferably supporting ecommerce, DTC brands, retention marketing, or agency clients. - Strong understanding of visual design principles, branding, layout, typography, and customer-focused creative development. - Demonstrated experience designing for email marketing and lifecycle retention programs. - Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, and auto-layout. - Experience with Adobe Creative Suite. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards. - Motion design experience, including GIF creation and familiarity with Adobe After Effects or similar tools. - Strong communication and collaboration skills in a remote working environment. - Portfolio demonstrating relevant email marketing, retention, ecommerce, and digital design work. Requirements - Professional fluency in spoken and written English is required. Candidates must be able to effectively communicate with clients and team members in a business environment. - Must be available to collaborate and attend meetings during standard U.S. Eastern Time business hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST. - This is a full time hire via EOR: employee benefits, paid time off, holiday pay, bonuses, equity, or other employee-related programs are subject to the labor laws of your country of residence. Role Description We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Marine Designer to support the development and construction of maritime vessels. The ideal candidate possesses deep hands-on expertise in ShipConstructor (ShipCon) to design, manage, and detail complex structural and distributive systems. You will collaborate closely with naval architects, marine engineers, and production teams to translate vessel specifications into buildable, production-ready design products. There are several positions available covering different technical disciplines. - 3D Modeling & 2D Drafting: Develop detailed 2D and 3D designs, models, and technical drawings for marine vessels using ShipConstructor and AutoCAD. - System Design: Layout and route complex marine systems—focusing on structural framing, outfitting, foundations, and distributive systems (piping, electrical, HVAC, etc.). - Production Support: Create and develop accurate fabrication/production drawings, spool drawings, isometrics, and lofted parts for shipyard fabrication teams. - Data Management: Generate and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs), parts nesting lists, and configuration control records within the ShipConstructor database. - Regulatory Compliance: Ensure designs meet project specifications, class requirements, and maritime regulatory standards (e.g., ABS, DNV, USCG). - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work directly with naval architects and production personnel to troubleshoot design challenges and document "as-built" details during the fabrication process. - Review & Modification: Conduct design reviews, incorporate feedback, and implement modifications to accommodate changes in project scope. Familiarity with complementary software (e.g., AutoCAD, Rhino, Navisworks) is highly desirable. - Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of ship construction techniques, build strategies, and "design-for-production" philosophies. The ability to interpret technical specifications and 2-D drawings and convert them into 3-D models is also required. - Communication & Problem Solving: Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proven track record of communicating clearly with engineering leadership and waterfront trades.
