SQL Developer, DBA – AWS, Azure Experience

Bounteous

• Administer and manage production SQL Server environments across Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, and AWS MySQL • Author, review, and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, DML statements, and schema changes • Perform query performance tuning through execution plan analysis, indexing strategies, statistics management, and operator-level diagnostics • Collaborate closely with the lead architect to evaluate and implement decisions impacting production environments • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of production schemas, data flows, and system architecture • Support Entity Framework–based applications by analyzing generated SQL and recommending optimizations • Leverage AI tooling to enhance database operations, monitoring, and automation practices

Job Requirements

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience as a Database Administrator with hands-on SQL Server expertise
  • Proficiency with Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Managed Instance
  • Experience with cloud-hosted relational databases, including AWS MySQL
  • Advanced T-SQL skills, including DDL, DML, stored procedures, and query optimization
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret execution plans and conduct operator-level query analysis
  • Working knowledge of Entity Framework and its SQL generation patterns
  • Familiarity with AI tools and their application in database management and automation

The ER Coordinator will: - Intake, triage, build, investigate, and assign cases. - Follow-up on all Employee Relations matters. - Respond to Unemployment claims in a timely manner. - Maintain case management databases and reporting metrics. - Maintain case files and respond to requests from third parties and the Legal department.
