• Serve as the technical advisor and strategic owner for a portfolio of strategic infrastructure partners, engaging everyone from developers and platform/ML engineers to CIOs and CTOs. • Own the full partner lifecycle: onboarding, adoption, technical enablement, expansion, and advocacy. • Drive joint adoption through live demos, workshops, deployment architecture guidance, benchmarking, troubleshooting, and best-practice recommendations — making Deepgram successful inside the partner’s environment and on the partner’s hardware and platforms. • Lead joint technical validation: scope and run POCs and evaluations that prove Deepgram models on partner infrastructure across self-hosted, on-prem, air-gapped, dedicated, and on-device/edge deployments, including security-sensitive and regulated use cases. • Run discovery continuously: surface partner problems, understand their business impact, and translate them into actionable requirements for product and engineering. • Identify and scope expansion (cross-sell, upsell, multi-product, co-sell) in partnership with Sales, and activate partner channels — OEMs, distributors, marketplaces, and cloud/inference providers — to reach their customer base. Lead executive business reviews and joint planning sessions. • Support joint go-to-market and co-marketing in partnership with Marketing — joint blogs, one-pagers, PR, and live demos at partner events and industry conferences — to drive awareness and activate the channel. • Act as the voice of the partner internally — influencing roadmap (especially deployment, self-hosted, security, and edge), GTM strategy, and the tools we build to support partners. • Track adoption, usage, health, and expansion to drive outcomes; travel to partner sites and events as needed. • Operate AI-first by default, and build tools, agents, and workflows that eliminate recurring work for you and the broader team. • Build, ship, and maintain backend services using Node.js, Socket.IO, AWS Amplify, and DynamoDB • Work across the frontend with TypeScript, React, Next.js • Design and integrate APIs using both REST and GraphQL, supporting flexible, scalable data access across services • Develop deep expertise in a few areas while remaining comfortable diving into new parts of the codebase • Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions, fostering a culture of clarity, curiosity, and shared ownership • Translate high-level product requirements into parallelizable, incrementally releasable tasks • Balance short-term deliverables with long-term investments in efficiency, scalability, and performance

• Improve Deepgram’s core inference services including areas in networking, speech processing, audio transcoding, and latency and memory optimization • Develop processes for measuring, building, and optimizing services to maximize system performance • Debug complex system issues that include networking, scheduling, and high performance computing interactions • Rapidly customize backend services to support our customer needs • Partner with Product to design and implement new services, features, and/or products end to end

• Own and drive AI enablement engineering across Deepgram • Evaluate, prototype with, and select AI tools • Build reference implementations and workflows • Set and run company-wide AI adoption strategy • Partner with various teams to define guardrails

• Own end-to-end delivery of AI infrastructure programs—from model training pipelines and experiment tracking to inference serving and production monitoring • Define technical architecture, integration patterns, and rollout strategies for new ML systems and tooling (e.g., vector databases, model servers, evaluation frameworks, prompt engineering platforms) • Serve as connective tissue between ML research, ML engineering, product, and data teams to align on ML system requirements, capability roadmaps, and deployment timelines • Drive cost and latency optimization for real-time inference workloads at scale • Build lightweight internal tools and processes to accelerate ML iteration cycles (experiment tracking, model versioning, A/B testing infrastructure) • Identify and resolve technical bottlenecks in training pipelines, serving infrastructure, and model evaluation workflows • Work closely with ML practitioners to translate research breakthroughs into scalable, observable systems

• Take Deepgram's Speech and Conversational models and get them running on embedded and low-power consumer hardware — defining the architecture for on-device, real-time inference across a diverse range of processors and accelerators. • Optimize models for constrained targets through quantization, pruning, distillation, operator fusion, and architecture-specific compilation to meet strict latency, memory, power, and thermal budgets. • Write and optimize performance-critical runtime code (C, C++, and/or Rust) for embedded environments, including bare-metal and real-time operating systems such as FreeRTOS and Zephyr. • Integrate with industry-standard edge inference runtimes and vendor NPU/DSP toolchains, mapping model graphs efficiently onto on-device accelerators and CPU/GPU/NPU heterogeneity. • Build the on-device runtime plumbing: model packaging, deployment pipelines, over-the-air update mechanisms, and lightweight telemetry for devices operating with limited or intermittent connectivity. • Establish repeatable benchmarking and validation across target hardware — measuring latency, accuracy, power consumption, memory footprint, and resource utilization — and catch regressions before they ship. • Partner with silicon and device vendors on SDK integration and performance tuning, getting our models to run efficiently on new chipsets and reference platforms. • Collaborate with Research and Engine teams to influence model architectures toward edge-friendly designs from the start, reducing the optimization burden at deployment time.
