Job Description
Senior Digital Marketer
Remote Raven
Role Description We are looking for a senior-level Digital Marketing Manager who can own the paid media and lead generation function end to end. This is not a coordinator role — we need someone who has been in the trenches running high-budget Google and Meta campaigns for solar or a comparable high-ticket consumer product, who can build strategy from scratch, execute with precision, and optimize relentlessly until cost per lead is where it needs to be. If you have a track record of generating quality solar leads at scale through paid channels and you know what levers to pull to make Google and Meta perform, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities - Paid Media Strategy & Execution — Google & Meta - Own the full Google Ads strategy and execution — search, display, local service ads, and Performance Max — with a focus on generating high-intent solar leads. - Own the full Meta Ads strategy and execution — Facebook and Instagram — including prospecting campaigns, retargeting funnels, and creative testing. - Build, launch, and continuously optimize campaigns from the ground up — not just manage what exists. - Write or brief compelling ad copy and creative direction tailored to the solar buyer at different stages of awareness. - Manage campaign budgets efficiently, allocating spend across channels to maximize cost per qualified lead. - Lead Generation & Pipeline Quality - Drive consistent, high-quality inbound solar leads to fuel the sales pipeline. - Define, track, and optimize against lead quality metrics — not just volume, but leads that convert to consultations and installations. - Build and optimize landing pages and conversion funnels to maximize lead capture from paid traffic. - Coordinate with the sales team to understand lead quality feedback and loop it back into campaign targeting and creative strategy. - Marketing Strategy - Develop an integrated digital marketing strategy that connects paid search, paid social, and supporting channels into a cohesive lead generation engine. - Identify new channels, audiences, and tactics to expand reach and reduce dependence on any single traffic source. - Stay current on solar industry marketing trends, competitor activity, and platform algorithm changes that affect performance. - Bring data-driven recommendations to leadership on budget, channel mix, and growth opportunities. - Analytics & Reporting - Set up and maintain accurate conversion tracking across all paid campaigns using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, and CRM integration. - Build and deliver clear, actionable performance reports covering spend, impressions, clicks, leads, CPL, and lead-to-close rates. - Use data to identify what is working, what is not, and what to do next — and act on it without waiting to be asked. - Creative & Messaging - Develop ad creative, copy, and landing page content that speaks to the solar homeowner audience. - Run structured A/B and multivariate tests on headlines, visuals, offers, and calls to action to continuously improve performance. - Ensure all messaging is compliant with platform policies and solar industry advertising standards. Requirements - 5 or more years of hands-on paid media experience with a strong focus on Google Ads and Meta Ads. - Demonstrated track record of generating solar leads at scale — solar experience is highly preferred; comparable high-ticket home services (roofing, HVAC, windows) will be considered. - Expert-level Google Ads proficiency — search campaigns, local service ads, Performance Max, and smart bidding strategies. - Expert-level Meta Ads proficiency — campaign structure, audience building, retargeting, creative testing, and iOS tracking workarounds. - Strong analytical skills — you live in the data and make decisions based on what the numbers are telling you. - Experience with conversion tracking setup, Google Tag Manager, and CRM attribution. - Ability to manage significant monthly ad budgets with accountability for CPL and ROI. - Self-directed and comfortable working remotely with direct accountability to leadership. Preferred Qualifications - Direct solar industry marketing experience — knowledge of solar buyer psychology, seasonality, and common objections is a significant advantage. - Experience with landing page builders such as Unbounce, Leadpages, or ClickFunnels for lead capture optimization. - Familiarity with CRM platforms for lead tracking and attribution, such as HubSpot or Salesforce. - Experience running local and geo-targeted campaigns for a multi-market home services company. - Google Ads and Meta Blueprint certifications nice to have. What Makes You a Great Fit - You have run Google and Meta campaigns that generated real solar leads at a real CPL — you can show us the numbers. - You do not wait for someone to tell you what to test next — you look at the data, form a hypothesis, and run the experiment. - Your campaigns are structured cleanly, tracked accurately, and reported on clearly without anyone having to chase you. - You are as comfortable building a campaign from scratch as you are diagnosing why an existing one is underperforming. - You understand that in solar, lead quality matters as much as lead volume — and you optimize for both. Benefits - This is a full-time role. - Rate starts at $12/hr depending on experience. - 100% Remote.
