Role Description As a Connected Product Test Architect, you will be responsible for defining and driving end-to-end testing strategies for connected products including Gateways, Set-Top Boxes (STBs), Smart TVs, and IoT devices. You will work closely with customers, product engineering teams, and quality organizations to establish comprehensive testing solutions, improve product quality, and accelerate release cycles. - Define and lead end-to-end testing strategies for connected products, embedded devices, and IoT ecosystems. - Architect testing solutions covering functional, integration, system, interoperability, performance, security, compliance, and user acceptance testing. - Create solution proposals including test strategy, automation approach, effort estimation, resource planning, and delivery roadmap. - Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks to improve coverage and reduce validation cycles. - Drive test case development, execution planning, defect management, and release readiness assessments. - Collaborate with development, product management, and customer teams to ensure product quality throughout the lifecycle. - Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for critical defects and drive corrective and preventive actions. Qualifications - 8+ years of experience in Product Testing, Quality Engineering, or Validation Engineering. - Strong expertise in testing connected products such as Gateways, STBs, Smart TVs, Consumer Electronics, and IoT devices. - Hands-on experience in defining end-to-end test strategies and quality assurance frameworks. - Proven experience in test automation architecture, test case design, test execution, and deployment planning. - Strong understanding of functional, regression, system, integration, performance, interoperability, and security testing methodologies. - Experience working with a variety of test tools, automation frameworks, and defect management systems. - Expertise in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and driving corrective and preventive actions for quality improvements. Requirements - Strong understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements governing connected products. - Experience supporting certification, compliance, interoperability, and product qualification activities. - Ability to align testing strategies with product quality, security, performance, and regulatory expectations.
