HVDC Primary & Valve Installation Supervisor
Switzerland Global Enterprise
• Ensure all installation activities are performed in accordance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements. • Implement quality control measures to ensure the reliability and performance of installed HVDC Valves & HVDC Primary Equipment. • Conduct inspections based on ITPs to verify adherence to quality standards. • Prepare and review installation documentation, test reports, and as-built drawings. • Ensure all tools, equipment, and materials are properly maintained and stored • Coordinate the HVDC Primary Equipment & Valve installation activities with the Site Management Team and other internal and external stakeholders (Installation Subcontractor) on site. • Provide guidance, training and support as needed to the installation subcontractor. • Coordinate with our internal Valve manufacturing to assure needed documentation is used at site during execution • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the installation process.
Job Requirements
- Technical education, preferably with a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in electrical- or mechanical installation works in large scale projects with at least 3 years experience in the relevant field.
- Experience from Supervision or Site Management in substation, FACTS or HVDC Projects preferred.
- Strong health and safety mindset aligned with international standards, with the ability to identify and stop unsafe work.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to provide clear verbal and written reporting (English required).
- Proactive mindset with the ability to recommend and approve corrective actions.
