Field Service Engineer
Kardex
• Customer site support — Maintain active customer sites to ensure the highest possible system availability and stability. • System commissioning — Perform commissioning and testing of all AutoStore hardware and software before customer handover. • Troubleshooting events — Handle customer support issues through remote ticketing and on‑site troubleshooting. • Documentation creation — Produce detailed documentation covering best practices, SOPs, and resolution methods. • Customer training — Deliver initial and ongoing training for end users and maintenance teams on AutoStore and Kardex subsystems. • Ramp‑up support — Assist customers during the post‑handover ramp‑up phase of new projects. • Travel requirements — Travel to project sites for trips of about a week; total travel 60–70%.
Job Requirements
- Technical Background in automation, electromechanical systems, robotics, or intralogistics (preferred).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent customer communication and service mindset.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
- Experience with commissioning, maintenance, or service engineering is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
- Valid driver’s license.
