Role Description We’re seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Accountant to be hands on of the day-to-day accounting operations while championing a strong, engaging employee experience. This role is a key member of the team, working cross-functionally to support financial performance and organizational health. You’ll lead core financial functions—including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll—while also contributing to employee engagement initiatives and supporting executive leadership as needed. What You’ll Do - Accounting & Financial Operations - Manage the daily accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, and payroll - Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes - Maintain strong internal controls and compliance with company policies - Accounts Payable - Manage invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliations - Review employee expense reports for accuracy and compliance and process accordingly - Oversee credit card programs, including virtual cards and reconciliations - Build and maintain strong vendor relationships - Accounts Receivable - Lead full-cycle A/R processes: billing, collections, and reconciliation - Maintain client relationships related to billing and payments - Resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate revenue recognition - Partner with client engagement and leadership on billing matters - Payroll - Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing - Maintain compliance with policies and regulations - Leadership & Collaboration - Partner with leadership to support financial goals and employee experience initiatives - Communicate processes and updates clearly across the organization - Contribute to a culture of excellence, curiosity, and accountability Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) - 5+ years of experience in A/P, A/R, and payroll management - Proficiency in accounting software - Comprehensive understanding of accounting functions and processes - Experience working with vendors, client billing contacts, internal leadership, and cross-functional teams such as client engagement - Available during US business hours Preferred Qualifications - Experience in an advertising agency environment (especially media billing) - Familiarity with Google platforms - Experience with project management systems - Experience with QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, or Ramp
