• Lead the design, testing, and development of electrical systems and components, ensuring alignment with project specifications and standards. • Develop detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system layouts for various projects (e.g., power distribution, control systems, circuit design, etc.). • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and product managers, to integrate electrical systems into larger product designs. • Perform simulations and analyses to verify and optimize electrical systems and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. • Provide technical support during the manufacturing and deployment phases, including troubleshooting and resolving electrical system issues. • Oversee the program lifecycle, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management to ensure successful project outcomes. • Manage project timelines, ensuring milestones are met and deliverables are completed on schedule. • Coordinate resources, including internal teams, contractors, and third-party vendors, to ensure effective and efficient project execution. • Monitor and report on program status, risks, and progress to senior leadership and stakeholders. • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including engineering specifications, test plans, and project plans. • Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement. • Act as the primary point of contact between the engineering team and other departments (e.g., product management, operations, quality control) to ensure seamless communication and project success. • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define project requirements, design objectives, and expectations. • Ensure that engineering teams adhere to industry standards, company guidelines, and best practices in electrical engineering. • Develop and implement testing protocols to ensure electrical systems meet performance, safety, and compliance standards. • Conduct root cause analysis and provide corrective actions for any technical issues that arise during design, manufacturing, or deployment. • Identify opportunities for process improvements in both electrical engineering practices and program management workflows. • Stay up to date with emerging trends, technologies, and industry standards in electrical engineering to ensure the team’s work remains at the forefront of innovation.
