• Work closely with the finance team, construction teams and external stakeholders to ensure financial objectives are met and reported accurately. • Produce financial reporting for external parties including lenders and building owners. • Support both external and internal audit processes and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. • Review monthly draw packages and ensure that all the correct information is in the lender certificates and draw documents that are required for JV’s and loans. • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable for multiple data center developments and ensure correct job cost coding and job cost structure. • Work with treasury management on new accounts, bank reconciliation, wires and deposit details. • Ensure that all journal entries and monthly ledgers are accurate for monthly and quarterly financial reporting and prepare lender compliance certificates as needed/required by property.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline is required.
- 3+ years of experience in property accounting or finance with a strong understanding of General Ledger and financial reporting (preferably in real estate development, construction, or a related industry) is required
- Experience with project accounting, capital expenditure management and lender draw processes are required
- Strong understanding of financial principles and practices, including GAAP is preferred
- Experience in financial modeling and analysis, with advanced Excel skills is required
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross- functional teams
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with high levels of ambiguity
- High regard for accuracy and completeness
- Familiarity with Yardi and/or Netsuite
