OEM Account Manager – Mobile Fluid Power

• Develop and execute a strategic territory sales plan to grow existing OEM accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities. • Prospect, qualify, and develop new customers through networking, referrals, cold calling, customer visits, and technical sales presentations. • Utilize your **mobile fluid power and hydraulic application expertise** to recommend engineered solutions that improve customer performance, productivity, and reliability. • Build trusted relationships with OEM engineering, operations, purchasing, and leadership teams to become their preferred fluid power partner. • Collaborate with experienced customer service, engineering, and technical support teams to deliver outstanding customer solutions and exceed sales objectives. • Effectively manage your territory using CRM, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and other sales tools to prioritize opportunities, track activity, and forecast business. • Stay current on mobile hydraulic technologies, products, and market trends to identify new opportunities and provide value-added recommendations.
Job Requirements
- Two- or four-year technical degree preferred, with emphasis in Engineering, Fluid Power, Hydraulics, Industrial Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Minimum of **2 years of outside sales experience selling mobile fluid power or hydraulic components, systems, or solutions to OEM manufacturers.**
- Demonstrated knowledge of **mobile hydraulic systems**, including products such as pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, hose & fittings, filtration, manifolds, or related fluid power components.
- Experience providing product application support, troubleshooting, and engineered hydraulic solutions.
- Value-added industrial distribution or engineered solutions sales experience preferred.
- Fluid Power Certification is a plus.
- Proven ability to develop lasting customer relationships and consistently grow sales.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and CRM software.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Willingness to travel overnight as needed within the assigned territory.
