Job Description

Senior Associate, EA Funds

Effective Altruism Israel

• Maintain the EA Funds grant database in Airtable • Read, categorize, and triage incoming grant applications • Fulfill various requests during the grantmaking process • Run ad-hoc analyses to support decisions • Monitor and manage the EA Funds inbox • Draft Forum posts, memos, presentations, and other external materials • Support donor communication and relationships • Break vague goals into concrete steps and track commitments • Proactively identify ways to improve team productivity • Prepare materials for key meetings and manage logistics

Job Requirements

  • Strong writing skills, especially for professional correspondence and donor-facing materials
  • Highly organized and proactive, able to manage multiple workstreams
  • Familiarity with Airtable or ability to learn quickly
  • Strong user of AI tools
  • Analytical ability to pull together data and present it clearly
  • Familiar with effective altruism and motivated to support EA Funds' mission
  • Discretion and maturity in handling sensitive information about donors and grants
