Annotation Program Manager

• Own day-to-day management of our annotation vendor relationship, including workload planning, throughput monitoring, and SLA management. • Coordinate annotation batches, scheduling, and delivery timelines across multiple production programs. • Monitor annotation quality and continuously improve labeling accuracy through structured QA processes. • Develop, maintain, and improve annotation SOPs, taxonomies, and documentation. • Build and maintain Python-based workflows for annotation data preparation, API integrations, reporting, and validation. • Partner with ML teams to prioritize annotation work that maximizes model performance. • Track work across Jira and communicate project status, risks, and capacity needs to stakeholders. • Drive operational improvements that reduce annotation turnaround time while maintaining high quality.
Job Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in data operations, annotation program management, ML data engineering, or a closely related role
- Experience managing an external annotation vendor operating under production SLAs
- Strong Python programming skills for data preparation and API integrations
- Experience authoring annotation guidelines or standard operating procedures
- Understanding of data privacy and confidentiality requirements when working with customer operational data.

• Lead large, cross-functional programs from strategy through execution and delivery • Define program vision, success metrics, and KPIs aligned with business and technical goals • Partner with engineering, product, and data leadership to shape roadmaps and priorities • Act as a strategic advisor, influencing long-term product and platform direction • Drive data-informed decision-making, including experimentation strategies (A/B testing, measurement frameworks) • Ensure programs leverage robust analytics, tracking, and reporting frameworks • Identify opportunities for optimization through quantitative analysis and performance insights • Guide teams in building scalable, data-driven platforms and systems • Oversee multiple workstreams, managing timelines, risks, dependencies, and delivery milestones • Establish strong governance, including executive reporting, communication cadence, and stakeholder alignment • Ensure consistent delivery against quality, scope, and timeline expectations • Proactively identify and resolve blockers across teams • Provide oversight on architecture, scalability, and system design, particularly in cloud environments • Review and challenge technical decisions to ensure alignment with best practices • Collaborate with architects and engineering leads to ensure robust, secure, and scalable solutions
• Map the current state of clinical QA processes across Neko's outpatient clinics, identify gaps against applicable standards, and produce a prioritised remediation roadmap approved by the Global Medical Quality Lead. • Design and embed a scalable QA program framework suited to Neko's outpatient, preventive health model: audit cadence, data review cycles, and clear accountability for quality metrics at clinic level. • Build and operationalise a quality data review process: define the key indicators, establish data collection from existing systems, and deliver a recurring dashboard that enables clinical and operational leadership to act on trends. • Lead at least two cross-functional QA improvement initiatives, working across clinical, operations, and technology teams, with measurable improvement against a defined baseline. • Develop and maintain quality documentation, including SOPs, audit tools, and training materials, that are accurate, accessible, and actively used by clinic teams.
