• As Product Manager Procurement & Portfolio Management, you will shape one of the strategically decisive product roles within our energy retail business. • Define how and where 1KOMMA5° procures, hedges and optimizes energy for our customer portfolio. • Develop a clear market segmentation and continuously refine it based on portfolio characteristics, customer mix and market conditions. • Design hedging and risk management strategies tailored to different customer portfolios. • Perform independent analyses of procurement performance, hedging effectiveness and portfolio profitability. • Define KPIs covering procurement costs, hedge effectiveness, portfolio risk and flexibility margin.

Role Description As Procurement Operations Manager, your primary focus will be to architect and manage the systems, processes, and analytical frameworks that empower the global sourcing and procurement organization. You will be reporting to the Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing in North America, to transform procurement operations into a data-driven engine of efficiency. You will work closely with global sourcing leads to drive value through operational excellence, automation, and high-quality organizational metrics across all technical and non-technical spend categories. This role is highly cross-functional and requires consistent liaison with IT, Accounts Payable, and other key departments across the company to ensure operational alignment. What You Will Be Doing - Operations, Systems, & Analytics - Act as project manager for the Sourcing team, keeping key projects on track and supporting weekly key deals reviews. - Improve procurement and contract management policies, processes, and procedures while ensuring compliance. - Develop and track key metrics including contract review cycle time, savings, supplier consolidation and relationship management, risk reduction and management, and improved visibility and control of expenditures. - Strengthen reporting and analytics across procurement and contract activities to highlight trends, risks, challenges, and opportunities. - Support implementation of systems and tools that drive productivity gains across procurement, sourcing, and contract management. - Serve as subject matter expert for procurement tools such as Workday, Lucid, BigQuery, Tableau, Netsuite, and Omnea, ensuring system integrity. - Support new procurement tool implementation through cross-functional collaboration and representation of sourcing interests. - Build and maintain advanced analytics dashboards for real-time visibility into global spend, contract cycle times, and supplier performance. - Architect and automate intake-to-pay workflows to remove manual bottlenecks and improve stakeholder experience. - Operational Support & Procurement Enablement - Overseeing the contract administration lifecycle and coordinating review processes using established playbooks to ensure compliance. - Managing tactical, high-volume procurement proposals and bids aligned with broader category strategies and technical requirements. - Operationalizing global agreements by partnering with Legal and IT to streamline execution of SOWs, MSAs, and NDAs. - Owning the training curriculum for the sourcing and procurement team to support development and knowledge sharing. - Rolling out automation projects to improve operations and efficiencies within the Sourcing team. Qualifications - Expertise in procurement tools and systems implementation, including Workday, ServiceNow, Tableau, Lucid, Netsuite, Omnea, and similar platforms. - Strong analytics and reporting skills, with the ability to draw insights from complex data and improve procurement visibility. - Experience automating procurement workflows and intake-to-pay processes to drive productivity gains. - A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, law, or equivalent, plus 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in sourcing and procurement operations. - Deep understanding of vendor contracts, purchasing, and contract review processes, with a focus on compliance and efficiency. - Experience leading international procurement operations and contract teams in global high-growth technology companies. - Ability to translate complex contractual terms into operational workflows and playbooks in partnership with Legal teams. - Strong leadership, coaching, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage a distributed team and influence business partners. - Ability to build strong relationships with key business partners and vendors, and lead purchasing projects across categories. - Flexibility to support global time zones, especially North America, and willingness to travel as needed. - A self-starter mindset with a positive, can-do attitude, initiative, and focus on results. - Passion for operational improvement, productivity gains, and performance metrics. - Proven ability to govern and orchestrate AI agents for tail spend management and contract intelligence, while helping upskill the procurement team for the AI era. - Active participation in procurement networks and industry forums such as SIG, with strong knowledge of AI-driven procurement tools, automation, and emerging trends. • Lead and support procurement consulting engagements from discovery through implementation. • Conduct spend analysis, procurement diagnostics, and benchmarking assessments to identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies. • Develop category and sourcing strategies, supplier management frameworks, and procurement governance models. • Perform supplier market research and support RFP/RFI development, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess procurement processes and implement improvement initiatives. • Facilitate stakeholder workshops and interviews to align procurement strategies with business objectives. • Support procurement technology implementations, including Coupa, Ariba, SAP, Jaggaer, Ivalua, and GEP. • Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, recommendations, and reports for client and internal stakeholders. • Coach and mentor junior consultants while contributing to proposal development and practice-building initiatives.

• Perform accurate quantity take-offs from architectural and engineering drawings. • Review plans, specifications and scopes of work. • Identify missing information or discrepancies within documentation. • Prepare material quantities for pricing and procurement. • Obtain competitive quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. • Compare pricing, inclusions, exclusions and lead times. • Liaise with suppliers to clarify specifications and pricing. • Recommend the preferred supplier based on value, quality and delivery. • Work closely with the Project Manager to finalise supplier selections. • Prepare procurement summaries for approval. • Ensure selected quotations align with project budgets and specifications. • Submit approved supplier information to the Accounts team for Purchase Order creation. • Verify Purchase Orders before release. • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation. • Issue approved Purchase Orders to the Scheduling team for booking and coordination. • Follow up suppliers regarding delivery dates and availability. • Maintain clear communication between estimating, accounts, scheduling and project management.
