Role Description We are seeking a highly analytical and structured Accounting & Operations Manager with 5 to 10 years of experience to lead our Finance team in the Philippines and streamline business operations. Operating within the fast-paced tech and semiconductor sector, you will take full ownership of Philippines financial reporting, related global inventory/supply chain accounting complexities, local statutory tax compliance, and daily operational workflows. As a key leadership figure, you will bridge the gap between financial control and operational efficiency. Your primary focus will be optimizing internal processes, managing asset depreciation, and ensuring 100% alignment with Philippine regulatory standards. This position is ideal for a proactive Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who thrives in a virtual environment and excels at driving system-wide efficiency. Qualifications - Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is strictly required. - Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a highly related field. - 5 to 10 years of progressive accounting experience. - Hands-on experience with NetSuite is highly advantageous and considered a major plus. - Deep expertise in Philippine taxation (BIR), SEC compliance, and knowledge of PEZA/BOI regulations (if applicable). - Advanced proficiency in cloud-based ERP systems and expert-level Microsoft Excel skills. - Proven ability to manage teams, handle accounting backlogs, and drive process transformations asynchronously. - Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills for virtual executive-level reporting. Requirements - Oversee all monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities in a remote environment. - Manage General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR). - Account for complex semiconductor supply chains, including inventory valuation, cost of goods sold (COGS), and equipment depreciation. - Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with PFRS/IFRS and tech industry standards. - Present monthly financial performance and variance analyses to executive leadership. - Lead the preparation and timely filing of all BIR tax returns (EFPS/eBIRForms). - Ensure strict adherence to corporate filing requirements for the SEC, local LGUs, and tech-related incentives (e.g., PEZA/BOI) if applicable. - Manage corporate tax audits and serve as the primary liaison for regulatory bodies. - Monitor changes in Philippine tax laws to proactively mitigate compliance risks. - Partner with Operations to execute administrative tasks for the Philippines subsidiary. - Audit existing operational workflows to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in a distributed team. - Design, implement, and enforce robust internal control policies for remote financial operations. - Standardize standard operating procedures (SOPs) across finance and administration using cloud-based collaboration tools. - Leverage ERP systems to automate manual tasks, track tech hardware assets, and accelerate reporting cycles. - Partner with cross-functional department heads to support budget management and technical inventory tracking. - Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and legal counsel as required.
