AI Operations Specialist
Wonolo
Role Description We are looking for an AI Operations Specialist to work with Wonolo’s Central Operations team. You will be employed by a third-party legal entity authorized to do business in the location in which you reside and you will provide contractual services to Wonolo’s Central Operations team. You will work closely with Wonolo’s teams to bring innovative experiences to life for Wonolo’s customers (we call them Requestors), both mid-market and enterprise businesses who rely on Wonolo to connect them with front-line workers. You will amplify our team's impact by building effective tooling around AI and automation solutions. You will help ensure our ops team fully leverages existing and new AI agents, in addition to launching automations and reporting to maximize their efficiency and reach. You'll partner primarily with operations, and collaborate with product and engineering to unify data reporting and reduce manual effort. Ultimately, your work will streamline manual processes and ensure AI solutions are fully utilized to boost the team's overall effectiveness. We welcome qualified candidates located anywhere in Latin America #LI-Remote. Qualifications - At least 1+ years of experience working in automation using low-code/no-code tools such as Zapier - Proficiency in SQL writing - Familiarity with Python and/or Javascript is a plus - Able to take an open-ended, ambiguous high-level question and break it down into specific analyses and provide answers - Understanding of common analytical frameworks and analysis types, e.g. A/B test analyses, retention analysis, KPI creation - Critical thinking about analyses, goals, and strategy; asking good questions and pressure-testing assumptions - Keen interest in staying up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices related to Low/No code development and automation - Strong communicator; able to speak in deep technical detail to other analysts or data engineers, while also delivering key findings to stakeholders with less technical acumen - Exemplifies a humble competence that inspires others and raises our collective bar (#OneTeamOneDream) Requirements - Manage the intake, evaluation, and implementation of automation and tool requests from operations teams using tools such as Zapier or other low-code/no-code platforms - Proactively fix bottlenecks or gaps in automation usage - Develop more unified analytics dashboards to track AI agent performance across systems - Consolidate metrics across disparate tools, enabling improved reporting for business stakeholders - Drive internal adoption of AI agents by making tools that are accessible, understandable, and valuable to ops stakeholders - Help train internal stakeholders on how to use and interpret AI dashboards and metrics - Maintain clear operational documentation for all new automations used within the team - Provide structured feedback to help align AI agent behavior with actual business workflows - Experiment with LLM evaluation and monitoring tools to support human-in-the-loop workflows - Stay current on developments in agentic AI, no/low-code automation platforms, and emerging LLM applications in operations Benefits - The opportunity for growth in a mission-driven and well-funded start-up - Health insurance through one of our valued partners - Company laptop - Option to be paid in US dollars - Access to no-cost on-demand mental health support, including counselling, mindfulness and meditation, and wellbeing courses - Encouragement of a healthy work-life balance with flexible schedules, an open vacation policy, and the ability to work from anywhere in LatAm - Team outings, happy hours, company off-sites, and more!

Role Description SMX is standing up and scaling an agentic AI practice: bringing agentic software engineering (autonomous AI agents that write, test, and modernize code) to Department of War, Federal Civilian, and Intelligence Community customers, with SMX's accreditation and authorization platform as the control and management plane. This role is the deputy to the practice owner and the field-facing technical person for the practice. You are more technical than a seller, more commercial than an architect, and you can build. You carry the load across the full scope of the practice: - Setting technical direction - Shaping and closing opportunities - Prototyping and validating solutions with your own hands - Representing the practice owner in customer, partner, and internal forums This is a remote position supporting a Herndon, VA based team.
