Freelance Sales Manager – Book Projects

• Independently identify and secure companies, brands and service providers as partners for high-quality book projects • Develop and implement a structured sales strategy from identifying potential clients and initial outreach through to contract closing • Advise companies on tailored participation, presentation and marketing opportunities • Manage existing clients and develop new business opportunities with current and prospective clients • Represent the publisher at trade fairs, industry and networking events • Work closely and cooperatively with the sales team • Report directly to the Head of Marketing & Sales
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in B2B sales, new client acquisition, or in selling media, marketing, or communications services
- Ideally an existing network within the media, publishing, or book industry
- Strong negotiation skills, proven closing ability, and a professional demeanor
- Self-organized, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented working style
- Passion for high-quality media products and a sense for premium brands
- Good knowledge of common Office applications; experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is an advantage
