Role Description As a Backend Engineer, you will primarily contribute to the first two areas: Developer Enablement and Cloud Platform Enablement. - Develop API solutions based on FastEndpoints and support the evolution of JTL’s company-wide GraphQL API where your expertise is needed. - Define and establish backend development standards, guidelines, and best practices across JTL’s engineering teams. - Create and maintain templates, boilerplates, and libraries that enable other teams to work more efficiently and productively. - Build and evolve cloud platform components, including self-service deployments, infrastructure using Terraform and Azure, and the central API gateway. - Ensure robust, maintainable, and scalable software architectures through the use of .NET 8, CQRS, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD). - Support teams in adopting new standards and practices, as well as bootstrapping new backend projects. - Regularly evaluate new technologies (e.g. SignalR) and assess their potential value for our backend ecosystem. Qualifications - Several years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on modern .NET technologies, particularly .NET 8. - Strong understanding of software architecture principles, including CQRS, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and modern development patterns and libraries such as FastEndpoints and Mapster. - Experience designing and developing GraphQL APIs and working with event-driven architectures and messaging systems, ideally with Azure Service Bus. - Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases, especially Azure Cosmos DB, and building reliable, well-tested software using frameworks such as XUnit and Shouldly. - Confident working with Docker, containerization workflows, and cloud infrastructure, ideally on Microsoft Azure, including experience with Terraform. - Strong knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows, including pull requests, code reviews, and engineering best practices. - Strong interest in AI-driven product development and enthusiasm for building AI-first solutions. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to drive technical standards and best practices across teams. - Fluent in English, with good German communication skills. Requirements - Nice to have: Experience with SignalR, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, Helm, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), GitOps, and Argo. Perform day-to-day communication in written and spoken Korean and English assisting with benefit inquiries, claims escalations, and urgent requests from brokers, clients, and members. Perform presentations and webinars in Korean for the new member onboarding. Create a Korean version of the company issued flyers, instructions, and policy documents. Translate the company web portal in Korean. Obtain new business opportunities by working with brokers. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Economics or Business Administration (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience performing vendor management in the healthcare industry. Specific skills/other requirements (quantitative experience requirement not applicable to this section) -- must possess the following: Supporting internal and external partners on expatriate benefits and insurance business; Managing relationship with clients and brokers, focusing on sales and operations of international insurance business; Negotiating domestic and overseas vendor and client contracts, contract standards, strategic renewal offerings and service level agreements, applying underwriting methodologies for expatriate benefits products; Training vendors to cultivate unique operating model and organizational value; and Monitoring and managing medical cases involving health insurance claim processing and medical terms and codes. Fluency in written and spoken Korean required. The expected salary range for this position is $ 120,973.00 - $149,400.00 . This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation and stock-based long-term incentives. • Build and manage Meshy's developer community across Discord, GitHub, X/Twitter, Hacker News, Product Hunt, and game dev / VR/AR forums (Unity, Unreal, Godot, VRChat, WebXR). Stand up Meshy communities across any and all relevant developer-friendly platforms to promote Meshy API. • Define community culture — tone, rituals, incentive mechanisms — to drive long-term engagement, healthy feedback cycles, and growth. • Launch developer ambassador programs to scale advocacy. • Organize hackathons, game jams, developer contests, and workshops — solo and co-hosted with ecosystem partners. • Provide frontline developer support across Discord, GitHub Issues, support requests, and docs. • Build production-grade demo apps and sample projects yourself using Blender, Unity, Unreal, or similar — showcasing real end-to-end 3D workflows with the Meshy API. • Produce tutorials, blog posts, livestreams, webinars, and video walkthroughs that teach developers to integrate 3D generation into their projects. • Own and improve Meshy's developer onboarding: API docs, SDKs, quickstart guides, and example repos. • Represent Meshy at conferences and online communities as a credible technical voice; host webinars, livestreams, and live coding sessions. • Build relationships with developer influencers, indie game developers, and content creators who can amplify reach. • Systematically channel developer pain points, feature requests, and friction back to Product and Engineering. • Build repeatable processes to capture, prioritize, and communicate API feedback. • Track community health, API adoption metrics, and content performance.
